“Fantastic Location!”

We stayed at the hotel in August. I was a bit concerned about how the hotel would be, as I had booked it for my parents and my husband and I , it was all down to me!.There had a been a few negative reveiws saying about room size etc but we were alll pleasantly surprised! Fantastic rooms, great breakfast, lovely veiws over the market, and a very reasonable price!The location is great as you can walk to almost all the sights. Would definitely go back and recommend friends.Food hall over the road is great.A fantastic holiday!

“Very satisfied”

A quiet, no-frills hotel with tiny rooms in an excellent mid-town position, one minute walk from the subway, cinema, shops and restaurants, with taxis passing frequently. The vacuum toilets are a bit of a shock, though! At this price in Stockholm, what more could you ask for?

I upgraded my room after the first night and was delighted with the upgrade and the service and attention I received from all the staff I came into contact with. The breakfast times were excellent for someone on holiday and the choice and variety of food both interesting and international. I would certainly return to the Hotel Rica - Kungsgarten!

“Comfortable clean and modern”

Quiet comfortable and clean yet in a central location. Excellent buffet breakfast (until 11am at weekends) with the healthy herring/salmon option as well as the usual fry up. Even vitamin supplements/omega 3 capsules on offer. Excellent value for money if you get an online deal. Cannot say that of many things in Sweden.

“An excellent hotel to explore Stockholm”

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance from the historical area and in the middle of the shopping district. Breakfast buffet was included with our room and it was impressive. Wi-fi was also included. Staff is helpful and we got upgraded to a better room. We would go back to this hotel.

“Excellent centrally located hotel”

I stayed in the Rica Kungsgatan for four days in spring 2008. The hotel was excellent, with good service, clean comfortable room and an extremely good breakfast buffet. The location is ideal for business or tourism. It does not have a lot of ambiance, though. I would characterize the feeling of the place as efficient and comfortable rather than "warm" or "cozy". So although I would not pick this hotel for a honeymoon, in all other respects I highly recommend it.

“Amazing Breakfast!”

Great location--a very easy walk (<0.25 miles) to major train and subway stations. The staff was courteous and provided great recommendations and reservation info. The best part of the hotel was the amazing breakfast! It was a huge spread of just about every breakfast food type you could imagine. Affordable, clean, stylish and in a great location.
