Muy muy bueno, pero podría mejorar
De los mejores hostales en los que me he quedado, por lejos. Pese a que es un hostel, hay privacidad en la habitación, enchufes personales, puertos USB-A, sector espacioso en baños y duchas y condiciones claras. Los únicos problemas son que el desayuno (opcional) es muy caro (aunque hay muy buenas cafeterías y bares cerca, además de un Mercadona), piden datos de tarjetas para pagar las tasas municipales y está a 10 minutos caminando de la estación del Metro más cercana.

The apartments are located in one of the best of Barna districts. There's quiet enough, a beach in a few minutes walk distance, a metro/bus stops nearby, a cafe and restoraunts just in a few steps.

Clean comfortable & close to beach and main Street
Location is perfect close to beach and mainstreets. It's the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. They have a lot of cleaning people, cleaning kitchen, toilets and shower rooms regularly. I really appreciated this as I was nervous to stay in a hostel because I like clean toilets/showers. The beds were comfortable and have privacy curtains on each bunk and your own bed light, 1electric socket, 2 usb charging connectors. A lot of space in the kitchen to cook and store some food in the cupboards and fridge with labels on your name.

Nice clean and organized hostel.
Had a good stay here. The hostel was excellent but as always with guests gig never know. People made more than respectable noise in the room arriving after quiet times and same thing happened at 5am in the morning.

Tried charging me to store my bags before check-in. I've stayed in hostels all around the world and they have not had a charge to store bags. Yet this is the 2nd hostel in Spain I have experienced this. After telling the girl on reception hpw dissapointed I was, she ended up letting me store my bags for free. The hostel is not quite as nice as it looks in the photos, although it's still nice enough. The 12 bed dorms are interal and have an window, which is only seen on one side of the room. It did feel a bit claustrophobic and the lights had to be on even during the day to really see. And the rooms got stuffy very quickly when the AC was off. The cleanliness.. the cleaners looked busy, but there were still areas that did nt look entirely clean. In the kithcne area, the tables still had the same marks after 2 days. Location is great, out of the business of the centre, but 20-30 mins by walk/metro to the centre. So close to the beaches. Rooms were nice and quiet and bed was comfy. If it's a calm hostel you are looking for, come here. Overall recommend, just a few considerations.

Hostel itself is “too modern”. They use an app to unlock doors, which means you have to carry your phone even if you are going to the toilet/shower and good luck if you run out of battery/have your phone stolen. Shower cabins are extremely small and there is no provision for storing above said phone while you are showering. The worst was that when I arrived at midnight, I was told my booking was cancelled (despite paying through Expedia a few weeks earlier). The girl at reception was nice - she said the room I booked (4-person with private bathroom) was no longer available and the best she could do is put me in 6-person shared bathroom. As it was midnight, it was too late to explore alternatives so all I could do was take it and go to sleep. A week later and there is still no refund for the fact I was in a much cheaper room (and not one I would have booked if I knew this was gonna happen). On the upside it’s next to the beach, in a safe area of Barcelona. Everything was clean and they had some activities to bring people together.

We tried to accommodate you anyway and we offered the refund to Expedia already (as you booked via Expedia). They should get in touch with you soon. Regarding the phones, Once you made a check-in, you received confirmation code which can be used beside the app, so you can choose if you want to use the code or app for opening the doors. Great hostel with friendly staff and good facilities. Take note of the location as it is not in downtown, otherwise it was great. Pros: rooms had locks and lockers had build in locks for lots of security. Beds had curtains and were very comfortable. Lots of showers. Good internet connection. Close to tons of cafés/ restaurants. Close to the beach. Notes: top terrace was closed. Far away from downtown; about 45min walk. Lack of instructions on how to get there from the airport. Fridge lacked shelf space.

The staff was the friendliest I have ever met at any stay. The rooms and common areas were fresh and clean. Restaurants, beaches and transportation all just a stone toss away. The perfect hostel for Barcelona!
