Riverfront estate with outdoor fireplace, bbq, river deck, boat dock and more!

We're excited to share our home with guests now who can make as many great memories as we have! We have 200 ft of San Bernard river frontage with a dock, plus plenty of outdoor activities to keep the whole family entertained. There's a separate guest house with an en-suite bathroom, and the property is just a few minutes away from Hanson Park and its public boat slip. We’re also close to Dido's Restaurant, which has delicious food and a great atmosphere. We have everything you need for your family trip!

Feel free to tie up your boat to our dock! There are cleats, but we do not have any ropes so please bring your own. The nearest public slip is at Hanson Park. The river is great for swimming! It's about 8 ft deep at the dock and deeper in the middle.

Please note that we are in a rural area and cell service is a bit spotty. We do have starlink wifi with high speed internet!

There are two large driveways with plenty of parking as pictured. There are 4 bedrooms. 3 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. The 4th full bathroom is accessible via the hallway. The master bathroom has a both a jacuzzi and shower, while the rest of the bathrooms have showers.

One of the bedrooms is a kids room with 2 single bunk beds (4 beds total) and a child bed. It also has plenty of games and toys!

We have a huge living space and the kitchen is very well equipped! It has pretty much every appliance you could want - pots, pans, knives, towels, utensils, glasses, etc. You will have no problem making big meals for the family here.

There is a big dining table with 8 seats plus plenty of extra space to eat at the island counter, living room, or outside when the weather is nice!

We do have a grill but please note we do not provide propane. There are propane cans for guest use but you will have to go get them filled. You're also welcome to bring your own!

We also have a firepit for your use. There may be leftover firewood to use, but please plan on bringing your own just in case!

There are two large ice chests available for guests as well!

THINGS TO DO

Hanson county Park is about 7 minute drive away and has a public boat slip where you can put your boat in the water. Feel free to tie your boat up to our dock while you stay with us!

Head on over to Dido's and River Rendezview - they have a couple of dining areas with great food, events, and large paddleboat!

Check out the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge:

Head over to Lake Jackson and see the Sea Center! You also won't be far from Surfside beach!

Beautiful house

My employees were in awe of this property. They loved that they could come to a home instead of having to be cramped in a hotel while they were working out of town. They were able to fish after work and cook home cooked meals.

Comfortable

I had my employees stay and this beautiful house instead of staying in a hotel for comfort while they work on Sweeney Hospital. The really enjoyed having a house which made them working out of town a lot more enjoyable. Thank you for allowing them to stay and we look forward to staying there again in a few weeks.

River Run

The property is just as seen on line. The host is very accommodating. Roomy and the view of the river is spectacular. Fishing wasn’t good…only gars were biting The only thing i didn’t enjoy was the slow drip in the toilet tank in the master bedroom. I don’t have any real complaints. See you next time!

Great family getaway

We had an amazing stay at this home! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the river and good fishing. The house was spacious and well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We especially loved the large deck with stunning views of the river. The host was also very friendly and helpful, and we would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great place to stay in this area

A Great Family Vacation Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The home was very beautiful, luxury, modernized, and spacious. The beds and recliner sofas were good quality and comfortable. The appliances were up to date and we love the countertop ice maker and water machine. The kids enjoyed playing cornhole and making smores over the firepit. The fishing experience wasn't that great on this part of the river but the kids did enjoy catching the big gars that were lurking around and crabbing. This part of the river is mostly for those that like to enjoy water sports, boating & swimming. The host was very accommodating and made us feel very welcomed. We have visited many vacation homes and this was one of the best welcome experiences. The personalized notes and welcome gifts was a nice personal touch that made us feel special. The neighbor's German Shepard visited us everyday and he was very friendly. The kid's loved him. We named him "Ruff Ruff" LOL! Also, there were patio cats that stop by for a short visit to eat & drink and then they're back to roaming the streets. My only regrets is that we didn't book an extra day. We highly recommend that families experience this home.
