The location of this property was excellent—an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by several issues with the accommodations, the most serious being the condition of the sofa bed. Although the listing stated the unit slept four, the sofa bed sheets were dirty and crusty, clearly not replaced after the previous guests. When we searched for extra bedding, there was none in the unit. As a result, two people in our group had to sleep on top of the couch with only a small throw blanket.When we contacted Vacasa, we were told through their AI support that someone would address the issue. Instead, after 9 p.m. the next night, several large trash bags were dropped at our door—still missing the blankets we requested, and filled with random items we never asked for. No one removed the dirty sheets, and no one followed up.When I reached out again and requested compensation, Vacasa responded with an email claiming we had dirtied the sheets, ignoring the lack of bedding and the bizarre delivery of unrelated items. The entire interaction made it clear that Vacasa does not prioritize customer service or guest experience.If the owner of this property reads this, I strongly encourage you to consider a different management company for your rental.
