Enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Good location. Most difficult part (and this was small) was access to the house from the driveway. Would have been nice to access from the garage or a paved walkway to roll suitcases.

Great House

I have stayed at many rental properties for my job, and this house easily makes it into my top 5. It was comfortable and well stocked with the basic necessities. The decorations and gas/electric fireplaces were especially nice and cozy. The renter's local contact was easy to reach and resolved a minor issue within hours of texting.

Wonderful house with an amazing surrounding area.

The house is located on a very charming back street surrounded by small farms and animals in almost every yard. Very quiet and comfortable area, still close by to shops and the center of Cottonwood. The house itself is very charming and well decorated. All the rooms were very inviting and comfortable and the amenities were very accurately described and very useful. We received texts before our trip confirming the stay and some information about our check in. There were rules and information right as we stepped in the door that included a lot of information on how to keep the house warm or cool which was very helpful. Overall, a very comfortable and welcome place to stay. Highly recommended.

Spacious place, if not a little outdated

The house was big and spacious and very clean. Nice location 20 minutes from Sedona. The pool table offered our group many fun times. Some downsides: -The chess set on the chess table is missing some pieces -The hot tub cover is broken -There is a donald trump board game prominently on display upstairs -the wifi is very slow

42th College Reunion Getaway

Seven 1980 college graduates from Iowa met and stayed here for a long weekend. We appreciated the open spaces and cleanliness of the house with easy access to Jerome, Montezuma and Tuzegoot ruins. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and the bathrooms had towels, soaps, etc. everything we needed including a washer/dryer. We enjoyed the hottub, fire pit and pool table, along with sitting around the big round kitchen table telling stories. I would say for 65yo ladies, we could have used better motion detection outdoor lighting in the front, especially when we first arrived and were unfamiliar with the layout of the property. We all had the best time and will remember our wonderful stay always.

The place is old and cluttered and a bit of crazy decorations but once getting past that the bed was comfortable and there was room to stretch out but no tv in the bedrooms

Great getaway

Great Vacation home!

We had such a great time! Everything was perfect for our group of 6. We had plans on visiting the wineries and taking the Verde Valley train. The house was just minutes away from everything, including downtown Cottonwood. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, the upstairs living area, pool table and even the piano! Our property contact person was very helpful and responded quickly. The only downer was that we didn't book one more night! We will definitely be back!

Birthday Getaway

The house was clean and nice. Everything worked fine. The location was nice and close to downtown Cottonwood, wineries, and Sedona. We enjoyed our morning coffees with the sunrise. The communication with the host and rental management company was none existent. The host phone number listed in the house folder was unavailable and it took two days to hear from the rental management to tell me the host or owner would get a hold of us regarding our question and issue. Nothing ever happened. We were glad nothing of any serious nature occurred.

The property is very old and from the outside it is not at all inviting. The inside is clean and generally well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, towels, and extra bedding. The biggest negative is that the WiFi in the house was useless. It worked only for about a half a day. I restarted the router several times but it did not help. Contacted the local contact for the house (the owner apparently does not live locally) about the problem. It seems something was fixed because it worked that afternoon, but then by evening it had gone south again. If you depend on the internet while traveling do not rent this house! Some of the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. No shower gel or shampoo in the showers.

3 forks for a house that slept 8 .Blankets were ragged, old, holey and dirty. Dish towels had human hair on them. Owners did not respond to our concerns even after an email. Our visit there was horrible. Three professional women that are used to staying in bed and breakfast and overseas accommodations. This was the worst that we have ever been in. Kitchen floor was not cleaned and there was dirt on our socks eavh morning from walking on the floor. Garbage piled up and.l overflowing from previous renters inndruveway! We have to drag their garbage in the large garbage can to the end of the driveway for pick up according to the instructions. We had one recycling small bag and one kitchen bag of garbage which was ours.

Convenient and close to town

I stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend. The appearance of the home on the outside looked like it could use some trimming of the trees, grass and bushes. As you walk to the front door you have to duck down otherwise you could get poked in the eye with dangling trees. Once inside the house it was nice and cold, as the AC worked great! Everything to the eye looked good. But with a closer look you can see cobwebs in corners dust bunnies. Not a big deal, but for the price you pay for the cleaning fee I'd expect it to be way cleaner. Some of the things I've noticed was the down stirs shower didn't work. The sink faucet in that same bathroom was leaky if it wasn't lined up perfectly. The lights in the living room where the fireplace was would turn on and off by it's self, there was no lighting at all for the backyard which made it hard if you wanted to enjoy the hot tub. ( which we didn't do because we couldn't see) Over all the house is nice, but definitely needs a deep cleaning especially with COVID going around, and the electrical should definitely get looked at aswell. The house was located centrally to everything we wanted to do so that was awesome! The process getting into the house was easy and convenient as well!

We loved this!

We stayed here for my sister's birthday weekend. We were very close to the wineries and Jerome. Plus we loved the amenities including the firepit, hot tub and the pool table. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a fun and relaxing weekend.

County close to town

Very big house, lots of room for guests. Clean and nicely decorated for Christmas. Some downsides though: no wifi, no soap for showers, showers upstairs don't get hot, only 1 working TV in house and its upstairs. Also we had to take all our linens off the beds, do dishes, empty fridge, take out trash... why aren't we charged a smaller cleaning fee?

Great home. Great location. Needs some work.

This is a great property, but we had a very hard time regulating the temperature. Neither of the thermostats worked correctly, so the downstairs was freezing and the upstairs was HOT. The heater wouldn't shut off even when we turned the unit completely off! The faucet in the upstairs guest bath sprayed water everywhere but where we needed it. There is an iron, but no ironing board??? No soap at the bathroom sinks. No recycling bins. No bath mats, and very slippery bathroom floors. No WIFI!!! For this price! The outlets in the kitchen island didn't work.. The outdoor lighting left much to be desired. The toilet in the master bath ran and ran. Most frustrating: the guest contact person on the email we got never answered the phone or any emails we sent. Logan Lewis does not appear to exist. I would stay here again, but the property is in need of some attention. We were disappointed to find that someone had entered while we were away at a wedding, and nobody contacted us about that. I think it's inapporpriate.
