Rooms can be cold in winter time, having no heating, only aircon. However, possible to ask for a separate heater to be placed in the room. Also, the pool is cold in winter time. Slow service in hotel restaurants, with a few individual exceptions (some people do a great job, while some of their colleagues are oblivious, as every where else, right?) The hotel security team is fantastic, providing extraordinary assistance when requested. They really know what service minded and customer focus means!

No heating in the room

We stayed in January and temperatures went down to 10 degrees in the night. The heating in the room was producing nothing but noise. In the middle of the night we realized we need to solve this issue, we and our children (2 and 7 years old) were practically shivering. We got two extra blankets. In the morning my brother, who was staying in the same hotel with his family, said they had the same problem and that they got an extra heater. We asked for one and were told that "We might not have any more heaters but we will see what can be done". Luckily there was a heater. Less lucky was the fact that the room was still freezing. The day after we asked for one more heater and the story repeated itself (we might not have etc.). We also learned a very interesting fact from a staff member in the reception: the managers of the hotel turn off the heating during weekdays when the hotel is not full. Only on weekends the heating is turned on. The reason? Saving money. Never mind the guests on weekdays paid good money and are entitled to minimal conditions. Absolutely scandalous. Our complains were not listened to, and when I later mailed the management I didn't get any answer. I will not voluntarily be a guest of any Isrotel hotel again. I recommend you to avoid them too.

OK hotel close to the beach

Fördelar: It is situated on a good spot, close to the beach and right next to the WOW theatre. Clean and comfortable.
Nackdelar: Everything wooden, furniture, doors etc is damaged. Kitchen not well equipped. Casserole had an uneven bottom, very small frying pan.
Plats: Beach 200 m away. Shops and restaurants along the beach. Hotel is next to the WOW theatre.
Relaxing stay in a somewhat worn down hotel. Good for families and couples.

The fact that we have a suite with kitchenette gives us flexability in planning our days
