Roomy and Easy

Although this place is on the main road and is lacking in curb appeal, it was very clean, large, cozy, and close to everything we needed. The back yard is huge and there were plenty of beds for our group of teens. We loved that the rooms were connected for the kids, and we had our own room and bathroom as parents. The wood burning fireplace is a nice, cozy touch. A hot tub would be ideal, but we understand they are not easy to maintain. Otherwise, a great place for a very fair price.

Great house!

Property was perfect for us. Close to casino and skiing. nice kitchen so we could prepare meals. Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be staying again at this property.

Great Location

Our group was a big mix of age ranges, spanning 3 generations. The kids loved the books and puzzles provided, which allowed grandma to partake and sip her coffee. The house was clean and had a supply of blankets for some cold nights. We also appreciated the heated bathroom floor. It’s a good location, close to town and a great sledding park. We were a little disappointed in the bed situation which seemed to be different as advertised. The bunk beds were shown with a double as the lower bed but when we got there, the bunk bed was lowered and a twin was used almost as an trundle underneath and a 3rd twin was added to the room. This was tricky for us just due to our sleeping arrangements but made it work. Overall, the place worked for what we needed. Everyone had fun and Our dog loved the fully fenced back yard!

Prime location & Great Backyard

We thoroughly enjoyed this home; the backyard was massive and fenced in, so my dog could prance around in the snow. Also, there was some snow, and the littles could use their sleds. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, everything was super clean and well organized. The view from the dining table was beautiful and the last day we were able to enjoy breakfast while watching the snowfall. The location is central to Kings Beach and close to North Star Resort for those who are skiing/snowboarding. The check-in process was a breeze, and all the information we needed was provided beforehand (toiletry needs, wifi, etc.). I would stay here again.

Clean, good location and easy access with no hiccups. Well, maybe you should state it clearly in property details that “we don’t provide shower supplies, no shampoo no lotion no soup bar”, then you will not need to say “I am so sorry” in text messages. We have 4 adults and one kid, staying for 3 nights, and found there are only two mini body wash gels, one for each bathroom. Therefore, for future visitors, we suggest you bring your own shower supplies! And one more thing, for the bunker bed room, you will either go through a main bedroom to enter, or via the outdoor patio, I guess no one would like to choose the outdoor way in winter. That saying, for whom sleep in the “connector” bedroom, which connects bunker bedroom and the rest of the property, you better be the very good friend of the rest that ok with them running in and out:)

Good location, nice place, exactly as described

Speedboat beach is small, but to stay in walking distance of one is incredible. Easy drive to Kings Beach for any grocery or connivence needs, and excellent base for exploring north lake Tahoe.

Comfortable Cabin at Northshore Stateline

This home is right on the main road, so a little noisy, but has a setback and large safe backyard great for children and/or dogs. The bathrooms are updated and clean. Some of the beds had plastic mattress covers. Kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, etc. Carpets were stained in many places. I took pictures so the owners wouldn’t think it was us if there was a question. Proximity to Speedboat beach swimming and Stateline Lookout a big plus!.

Fun in the sun

Funky cabin did just the job

House is on the small side but it's just what we needed for our family of 4. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed and good for the price. The house is on a main road which is great in the winter because it's plowed, but be forewarned if you have bolting kids or dogs. Two of the bedrooms are connected so kids sleeping in the bunk bed room have to pass through the other bedroom to get to the living area, and the third bedroom has a full size bed, not a queen, and two adults cannot comfortably sleep in it. Pics are honest and backyard looks huge for spring/summer months.

Great place!

We stayed here July 4 weekend and it was a great getaway with dog, baby and husband. Ample bedding and towels. Kitchen stocked with what you need to serve meals. Safeway close by to grab other essentials. Loved our walks to speedboat beach and hanging out on the patio.

Great home for pet friendly getaway!

Everything as described and well communicated from property managers. Our dogs’ first trip to the snow and the backyard was a fantastic playground for them (and us). Cozy and convenient, everything worked. We brought our cable box and connected to WiFi to watch our hockey games in the evening after the day on the slopes. Would love to come back again.

Steak knives

We enjoyed our stay , one little thing was missing..there was only 1 steak knife. We brought steaks to grill so I ended up buying paring knives which is what Safeway had as the closest thing to a steak knife. Other than that, the kitchen had everything else we needed.

Stayed at the house with my dogs. Great yard for dogs. Close to many things to do. I grew up in Kings Beach so it was nice to be near my old stomping grounds. Found out while I was there the next door neighbor is the father of one my best friends from childhood. :-) I'd stay here again

Speedboat house review

House was great. Communication was great with property management. Location to speedboat beach and kings beach made this house worth it. Parking and getting out of the parking spot was a little hassle being on the Main Street. Big yard for the dogs which was a huge plus. Beds are firmer than I’d like but overall would still give 5 stars.

Great Location

This property is a great value. Especially its proximity to speed-boat beach. The house itself was clean and with plenty of linens. Please note that the beds are relatively small (Queen/Double) but nice mattresses. This is not a luxury unit - but and older home/cabin that is well appointed and a good value for the money.

Great stay at Brockway (with toddler)

Overall the house was very nice, with a huge spacious backyard, minutes long walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen (Speedboat Beach - which was completely empty when we went there early morning), and a great kitchen (with an excellent gas stove and tons of amenities for preparing big meals). The house is on a very busy main road, which was a big plus for us, considering our toddler LOVES to watch cars go by. And it was quick access around Tahoe. A few downsides, the backyard had a ton of dog poop there (although there is supposed fine for leaving it) and overall the place felt pretty dingy. Carpets are old, toddler's bare feet were black within a few minutes of running around, so socks it was. All in all would recommend.

Super-clean one-story house with great access to Speedboat Beach

We enjoyed our stay here quite a bit! All the amenities and was left super clean for us. Safe enough for a 13-month-old to explore with some supervision. We were nervous about letting our dog out in the yard because of a low fence with the snow, so that was the only bummer. The house is right off of a busy road, so parking takes some time, and kids and dogs need supervision out the front door.

Kramer Visit to Kings Beach

Excellent visit! Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. The home was very comfortable and had all amenities we needed. The main bedroom bed was very hard, so I slept on that. My wife preferred the smaller bedroom bed with a softer mattress even though the heat was much warmer in that room. Our 8 year old loved the bunkbeds. We weren't sure how the thermostat worked so left it alone. It was too cold for my wife in the big bedroom (but I liked the cooler temp). The living room seemed warmest room in the morning so that worked out perfect. I used the stove each morning. We hand cleaned pans, glasses, flatware and bowls. I used the coffeemaker each morning. We used the washing machine/dryer Saturday after our last outing with skiing. Again, fantastic home, great location. Thank you for having this place available!

Loved our stay with our adult children and grandkids. Minor negative note is that there were leftover coffee grounds in the coffee maker. Not a huge issue in the scheme of things.

Nice winter retreat

Our family enjoyed our time in Kings Beach for a winter trip to Tahoe. The house was very clean and comfortable. Heater worked great! Close to Incline for shopping, skiing, etc. Short drive to North Tahoe regional park for sledding. Easy walk to Speedboat beach (7 minutes). Only thing to be aware of is this house is on the main road between Tahoe City and Incline Village. Traffic can be a steady stream and makes it difficult to get in and out of driveway, which is sloped down to house and no shoulder available due to plowed snow. Also, if you have dogs that need to be walked, you need to navigate the main road with ice/snow limited shoulder before finding a street to safely go on a walk. That’s the only real issue with the location. Road noise was minimal but noticeable.

Amazing stay for a family trip right before Thanksgiving!

We had an amazing time staying at this property; the house had plenty of room for my family, including my 1 year old nephew and my dog loved running around in and exploring the spacious backyard. The location was also right by the lake and not far from all that the Tahoe area has to offer. Definitely a great place to stay for a Lake Tahoe trip!

Cozy, super-clean and well located

Such an enjoyable stay over Thanksgiving. The property is well located just out of the main drag of Kings Beach. It’s an older style property but with lovely new bathrooms full of fresh clean towels. Overall it’s very well presented with lovely clean bedding, a great kitchen for cooking a Thanksgiving feast and the perfect fully-fenced yard for our dog. We did a great walk straight from the house, just over the Nevada state line - up above the lake for beautiful sunset views and could drive easily to Truckee and Tahoe City. Highly recommend this place. We would happily stay again.
