The coastal town of Aberaeron is 9.5 miles away, with a picture-perfect harbour, small beach, and a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants. From here, you can walk part of the Wales Coastal Path or hop on a dolphin-spotting boat trip. For country walks, head 10 miles inland from the property to the market town of Tregaron where you can walk along the banks of the River Brennig, visit the Red Kite Centre, or go walking in the Cambrian Mountains. If you like historic houses, the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron is just 7 miles away, offering fun for all the family.

An additional living room allows for extra space for kids to play, with a pull-out double sofa bed available if two extra guests join you. Up the stairs to the first floor are two beautifully designed bedrooms with soft linen and sumptuous mattresses that offer a tranquil night’s sleep. Featuring exposed wooden beams that add to their character, these rooms include a king-size bedroom and a cosy twin room that little ones will love. Serving the bedrooms and completing the property are a well-appointed family bathroom and downstairs shower room.
Stepping outside to the back of the cottage, there’s a private patio with outdoor seating to relax after a day’s exploring and admire the bird song in abundance. Local wildlife is seen here every day, and depending on the time of year, you can hear the cuckoo, the woodpecker, Canadian geese, ducks, curlew, skylark and many more. Behind the property is a large play area with more seating, a hammock and a chiminea, while just 200 metres away is a small, landscaped area for adults only with a woodland and lake. Take a stroll down the lane to watch the sun setting over Cardigan Bay, or just relax in the garden to stargaze.
