Something very wrong here. RISK IS HIGH!
TRIED TO COMMUNICATE EARLY AND SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE APARTMENT WAS READY - NOTHING. NO COMMUNICATION UNTIL HOURS BEFORE CHECK IN (No way to know if you need to make other arrangements or if we can proceed). A COUPLE HOURS BEFORE, OWNER SAYS THERE IS A MAJOR GAS LEAK AND A SEWAGE/TOILET PROBLEM. OWNER SAYS WE CANNOT STAY THERE AND PROCEEDS TO OFFER AN EXPEDIA RENTAL (for 3 people, we have 6). WE SAY THAT WONT WORK AND ARE FORCED TO MAKE QUICK HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS FOR 6 PEOPLE (including one elderly woman). GUESS WHAT? IN, CRISIS OF NOWHERE TO STAY, WE MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS AND RIGHT BEFORE THE SUPPOSED CHECK IN TIME THE OWNER SAYS ORIGINAL APARTMENT IS READY ?!?! NO MENTION OF "MAJOR GAS LEAK" OR SEWAGE PROBLEM? HEALTH HAZARD!! THIS OWNER HAS HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THEIR RENTALS THIS OWNER IS REFUSING TO REFUND. REFUSING! OTHER BAD REVIEWS - THIS RENTAL IS A SERIOUS RISK TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION ADDED STRESS AND CONFUSION FOR VACATIONERS LOSS OF MONEY WASTE OF TIME ON VACATION OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL GET OFF VRBO

Cute apartment
We came in for a football game and are a family of 5. There was a lot of space for us to spread out. I was a little concerned with some of the other reviews but the property management company was good to communicate with. The Wi-Fi was not great and we could not get the TV to work. Wish there were a few restaurant recommendations or things to do provided but maybe they only do that in the states. Overall the place were perfect for us and in a great tucked away location. Tube was a 5 minute walk away. Loved it!

Host cancelled on is last minute
I’ve never had this experience with Vrbo, but when we showed up at the house, after receiving all the correct emails from Vrbo, we were not given a code for entry. We were traveling with three young children and my mother-in-law in her late 70s and we were waiting outside the apartment for two hours before anyone from Skyrise got back to us. All they said was the roof starvation was canceled. They didn’t indicate why or any other reason. When I asked for a contact phone number to discuss in person, they sent me to Vrbo, rather than addressing it themselves. We had paid by the proper date months in advance, and then we were told by the host that we had a reversal of payment initiated just days prior to us arriving. I explained via the vrbo website messaging that this could not be the case, since we had been traveling, and I had never reversed the reservation, and they were very inadequate with details. I had to file a complaint with Vrbo and the host never did give me a number to call them directly. As of now, we still have not received a refund and we had to check into a hotel and the whole experience has put me off from Vrbo. I certainly would never trust this company.

A Fantastic London Vacation Choice
The property was at the center of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and appreciated the location and surroundings. It would be hard to find a better spot to vacation in London.

Terrible
Property was great location and clean. But otherwise this was my worst experience ever with a rental. Property details are incorrect- the home has 2.5 bathrooms not 3. And the beds are one king, one queen and one double. Not two kings. Communication was TERRIBLE leading up. They charged me an additional £500 when I went from 5 up to 6 people (the number it was advertised for). But the worst was after we were there for 28 hours the pipes started leaking from the ceiling. Water dripping directly on the chandelier. We had to vacate and fine hotels for 6 people- during Wimbledon week- because we had no plumbing and the water mixed with electricity was dangerous. And best of all I have yet to hear back from the owner about a refund for the days we were not there. This is the worst experience ever. DO NOT rent this property!! I am still hoping Vrbo will back up their listing.

Great property, bad manager
This is a very nice property that is badly managed. Property is a spacious, attractive 4-story townhouse on a small, quiet square in central London. Very convenient location. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Modern kitchen and bathrooms. No elevator. No air conditioning and no fans, so the top 2 floors got quite warm. Wi-Fi did not work at check-in and even after it was fixed the Wi-Fi signal did not reach above the ground floor. Manager did not respond to requests for check-in information until after the listed check-in time -- we wondered if we had been scammed! He did send someone to turn on the Wi-Fi within a couple of hours after we called him. VRBO provided little support for getting check-in information: they sent a message to the manager, and they said they would help us find another place if the manager did not provide check-in information by the start time of the rental - not much help. We liked the property a lot, but we would not rent with this manager again.

Vacation Rental By Corporation
The property was very clean, spacious and in a nice, safe neighborhood. However: Communication was very poor and in fact, they sent me to the wrong door/lockbox. Fortunately, we found the right one We were charged 100 pounds extra for late check in even though the key was in a lockbox. ????? The listing said tv had ‘satellite/cable’. It didn’t. I received a name and number to call and received no response. There were no instructions re anything - the 5 tv remotes, how to use the heat, local restaurants - nothing. The kitchen was very basic. No can, bottle or wine opener, no paper or cloth towels, there is a switch that must be on to use the stove but they don’t tell you that. Wi-Fi was dreadfully slow. Trying to stream tv, gets interrupted every 2-5 minutes. And the least they could do is have YouTube TV. Nope! No towels in the powder room. At this price point, one deserves better quality and service. My advice? Keep looking.
