Read before booking this hotel
First, be aware that hotel has a special, worn down wing allocated for families. It’s noisy and far from as clean as one could expect from a Hilton hotel. The staff walks by trash left in the corridors and elevator area, and its a lot, so after a few hours it’s quite filthy. First room we got had a heavy smell of chemicals, most likely a side effect from trying to get rid of the moth’s. They were still present though. We got a new room with a broken shower, dirty towels and over all low level of cleanliness. When highlighting the overall experience of the filthy corridors on floor 8 to the staff we are moved to a third room, still in the same worn down wing but now on floor 13. Our luggage did not follow though. We had to ask staff to locate it for us. Once installed in the new room we have noisy neighbors. Kids screaming, jumping in beds and slamming doors. This was also brought to the attention of the hotel that did not seem to care much. First night we asked for ONE toothbrush. None arrived. Second night we insisted got TEN toothbrushes delivered to the room?!? In my life I have had a few hundred hotel stays. This one qualified as one of the worst. We did not get any apology or compensation? The only upside with this hotel is that it is close to Paddington and the Heathrow express. I could have posted pictures but decided not to.

All our Superior and Family rooms are located in the West Wing, which we're hoping to be able to update in the near future. Your comments will be taken on board when planning this. The best part was the staff, service from Barry , Joey and the italian guy who helped me several times when I didn't feel good. Also the cleaning lady that tried to help us with the room. We had to wait very long time for the elevators and with a little baby that wasn't really great. In our room 1481 the bathtube, zink plug didn't work. So taking a bath or wash bottles was really hard to find out. We asked about parking and got a link how to get there, but it took 1 hour to find it! And when we arrived to the hotel we find out that the hotel has parking!! And we were not offered that or told and we had to carry all off our stuff from so fare away and got also got a room so far away from everything.

Nice and well maintained. Oxford and Hyde park are close by. A lot of great restaurants in the back of the hotel and Mark and Spencer is just in front to get some sandwiches and salads if you want to relax in your room after walking all day. We really enjoyed our stay

When I left the luggage in the lobby. The staff was not cooperative to pass me the name card for storage. He asked me how your luggage can be recognized. How did he know the luggage is mine. It is impolite and not cooperative. This is very bad. I have a feeling of I insultation.

Massive hotel on Edgeware Road - clean and efficient. Car park seems to be owned by a separate group and is very expensive. I was charged more than the displayed prices. For the price of the rooms you would expect some kind of discount on parking but I guess that's central london. Location is great for tubes and the restaurants down Edgeware Rd. Paddington Basin is a short walk and worth a visit

We stayed in the older section of the Hotel, the room was quite large. The Bathroom does need upgrading (some mold in the corner) but overall great for a family of 4.

The hotel is a good location. It is a very nice hotel. The staff were all super friendly. Loved the special Lego in reception. The room was tidy and very quiet. The bathroom lets it down a lot. It needs refurbishing completely and our bath had rusted enamel. Breakfast was no good either. I would definitely stay again and enjoyed myself

The hotel is for us too much dated and especially with a family room the bathroom is too small. The hotel is close to the underground and a hop on hop off bus drives by, but this together with the cars makes it noisy. Lastly the breakfast is overloaded between 9 to 10 am. On the day we left there was a huge queue so we were glad we went earlier.

For a 4 star hotel I had expected more... The furniture was very dated and very dirty under the bed. Carpet felt like it was never vacuumed. Breakfast was the highlight.

There is no soundproofing between the rooms. We had an awful night’s sleep on our first night because the guests in neighbouring rooms were noisy and we were woken repeatedly by them talking and laughing and people running down the corridor. The next day we asked if we could change rooms and we’re told the only available room was next to a service elevator. The staff member who dealt with us did not apologise for our poor nights sleep or offer any other suggestion or solution or indeed compensation. We had to endure a second night which was much the same as the first.

Stay good until fire alarm went off 3 times in the night, went down three times. Set off by customer-we learnt later. The staff were disorganised, did not give clear or audible instructions, customers wandering around not knowing what was happening or what to do. Access stairs to first floor not accessible without going up 5 floors and down again which we had to do 3 times. Staff were not proactive in letting customers know what to do or what was happening. Complaint made in morning and given a free breakfast. Learning needs to happen from this as if it was a real fire lives would be at risk.

Our emergency evacuation procedures, including evacuation points, are displayed in every guest bedroom and fire marshals will be located there to ensure you are kept fully informed when it situation is investigated and it is deemed safe to return to the building.
