We stayed in a twin room for two night. We got a room of fair size, not big, but still good for London standards. The room was overlooking the backyard. It was possible to open the window to and there was a good blind which made the room dark when pulled down. The beds were (as others reviews state) a bit hard, but still comfortable. I slept very well, maybe I should get a harder bed at home? The bathroom was stylish, clean and well working. Overall the room and hotel areas were very clean and well maintained. WiFi was working but a bit slow and lagging.
The room key had to be left att the reception when leaving the hotel, which was not a problem for us. The hotel generally had very strict policies and rules - you have to sign this paper, leave the key when you go out, if you check out too late it costs 10 pound extra per 30 minutes, you have to sit at this table for breakfast, if you want an egg it is 1.50 pounds extra etc. Either you can be irritated by these rules, or you can think of them as a way of keeping the hotel well working. The hotel staff was still very friendly, but flexibility seemed not to be their thing.
Breakfast was better than expected. Choices were limited, no cooked options unless you paid extra, but what was offered was of high quality and fresh. Good toasts, wonderful fruit salad, ham, cheese, marmalade, coffee (which was not bad at all), orange juice.
The location is perfect,I would stay here again and I would also recommend this hotel to others.
