Wingate by Wyndham Long Island City

We just stayed at this Hotel for 5 days! What a horrible experience it was! The big fat Hispanic guy is disrespect and rude to customers! He prefers to help women rather than actual customers! We arrived a few hours late from a long flight and dead tired to be told that we can not check in until 3 p.m. He made us wait in the hall for long hours so we ended up leaving and coming back later to get the room! We offered to pay extra and they had rooms available but said they were all booked! Be ready not to be able to sleep at night because there is construction all around this place! This area is very bad dirty and graffiti all over the walls! Lots of homeless people and overall very dirty. Not safe at all The breakfast they serve is a joke! Eggs and sausage which makes a McDonald’s breakfast much more appealing! The distance to New York Times Square costs a lot of money using Uber or taxi so just keep in mind getting a hotel in Times Square and paying a little more is much more worth it! I would never come back to this hotel even if they offered it to us for free! Horrible place, horrible customer service, cheap quality breakfast and too much damn noise of construction!

I loved it. Room was clean, view was great. I also liked how they were super friendly. Helpful and the breakfast was really good.
