Short stay
The house is nice but needs a updating, both with furnitures, household items and also cause to the fact - smell of mold. The landlord was nice and very caring towards us though, cause we needed to change house.

A lovely traditional Gozitan property with good access to amenities. Just one thing though. The provision of groceries was very kind but it would be useful to know what has been provided as we went to the supermarket before going to the property and then found items had been duplicated

Lovely Villa in a Lovely Town
Completely enjoyed our stay at this lovely villa in Qala. Highlights included the large bedrooms, beautiful pool, ample on-street parking, being able to walk into town, the quiet location and our host, Raymond, who was easily reached for questions and who went above and beyond making sure we enjoyed our stay. It is a short drive to the ferry, and we used a ride share one day to the terminal at Mgarr and took the high speed passenger ferry on an easy ride to Valletta, so we didn't have to take the car ferry and drive in. No need! We spent a wonderful morning at the Temple at Ggantija, so fascinating, and stopped for an amazing lunch at Oleander in Xaghra. Then on to the salt pans on the coast and visited the wonderful Natural Xwenji Sea Salt Shop, where we met the "producer," Alfred Attard, and chatted with him and his lovely daughter who runs their shop. We bought the most delicious sea salt! So memorable. We especially enjoyed the fresh seafood and pizza at Xerri Ik Bukket, a restaurant with amazing water views and just a short walk from the villa. Great Maltese wines as well. They are open very late, and saved us at 10:30 pm after a long flight when we were so hungry. Ta' Mananni was the perfect getaway for our family and we enjoyed ourselves there so much! Thank you, Raymond and staff!

Another great visit
Our 9th visit to the lovely village of Qala and our 4th stay at this farmhouse. The house is clean and comfortable, with wonderful outside space and a fab pool. Raymond the owner is really good at keeping in touch and replying to any queries. Highly recommend this farmhouse and the village of Qala.

Family Friendly
Villa was perfectly situated - excellent cafe/restaurant nearby, good local shop and perfect for the ferry. The pool was the best we have had at a villa in Gozo - clean and well maintained. Space inside was perfect for a 3 generation family Raymond was the perfect host - quick to respond to messages with a positive reply Thank you for letting us stay We hope to come back again in the not too distant future.

Lovely stay
Lovely property, very spacious. Raymond was an excellent host, very easy to contact. The pool was a lovely temperature with plenty of sun beds and chairs. Very much enjoyed our stay here. Qala was a lovely little town, perhaps a bit too quiet for some people. Lovely bars and restaurants especially the D Bar. Overall a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic property: super clean, very spacious and well appointed. Great mix of authentic style and modern fittings, bathrooms and kitchen all left you wanting for nothing. Patio and pool spot on: sun trap, with shade! Balconies and rooftop a great surprise find. Even our surly 14 and 17 year olds loved the property. Walking distance to local restaurants, 2km from the ferry. Easy to get around via either bus or car. Property is a real delight, Ray is a lovely host: always available, never intrudes. We’ll be back! Off-Season at Ta' Mananni
When we initially booked, Raymond, our host, kindly reminded us that this was not high season, we shouldn't expect poolside conditions, and weather might be highly unpredictable. We were aware of this, but as this particular season turned out, the weather was unusually spectacular — mid 60s, blue skies and sunshine every day. Plus, the island was filled with Christmas decorations and holiday cheer. Even without all that, Ta' Mananni off-season was a complete delight. Raymond could not have been more helpful with all of my pre-check-in questions. The property was immaculately maintained and we loved its location. A short walk in a couple of directions lead us to spectacular views of Comino, Malta, and the Mgarr Harbour. We were able to easily walk into Qala (charming village) for supplies and dinners. We also walked down to the harbour one day — easy walk and fabulous views, although I recommend a ride back since it's all uphill. We did not rent a car and instead relied on ride-share drivers, who appeared within 5 minutes or less whenever we needed them. The host, the house, and its location are all marvelous. Go for it!

Fabulous experIence
We have just stayed for a week at Ta Mannanni and had the most wonderful time. The villa is ideal (we were 3 adults and 3 children between 10 and 5 yrs old). The pool was so much fun for the boys to play in. We had all the cooking equipment we could need. The availability of tv and wifi for the moments the children were sleepy or needed a break from the sunshine was really appreciated. The area is perfect! So much to do on Gozo island, and Qala felt so authentic / not over touristy. Raymonds communication throughout was amazing, always prompt to respond to questions and offer advice. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ta Mannanni to anyone considering staying- its truly fabulous!

Relaxing vacation....Loved the accommodations.
We loved the location and the pool was awesome! We used the grill a couple nights but mostly walked to town and had dinner at some fabulous spots. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in Gozo. The AC in the bedroom worked wonderfully. It is controlled by a pay per use machine but it only costs about 3 Euro a night to run. Well worth it. Just wish there was one in the livingroom. The owner left us some bread, ham, butter and milk. It really came in handy and was a nice touch. He also was always available to us when we needed something like where is the best grocery store. ;-) We had a great time.

Great Family Break in Gozo
We were very pleased with this property. Spotlessly clean throughout. Although no photos of the bathrooms on the listing, they are all very good with excellent showers. Kitchen is well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and extra blankets and pillows are available if required. The villa is private and in a quiet area. A short walking distance to the town centre. Several excellent restaurants all walking distance as well as a couple of food stores, butcher and baker. The pool is well-maintained and there is plenty of seating around it. The host communicates well and is happy to answer all questions. Our first booking through Vrbo and we have been impressed. We very much hope to return to this villa to continue our exploration of Gozo.

Wonderful stay at Ta Mananni
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ta Mananni. We had to change our booking several times due to Covid/flight changes etc and Raymond could not have been more helpful. As we entered the courtyard, we could feel all of our stresses melt away. The villa is perfect with everything you need. Can't wait until we can come back here again. Thank you Raymond for being so helpful and letting us stay at your wonderful villa!

Wonderful little castel
We had an amazing week in Ta Mananni, and we wish we could have stayed another week in this beautiful and spacious house. It looks much better in real than in pictures. We found everything we needed int he house, we could see the stars on the roof top and relax during the day on the sun beds. We already plan to come back next year! Thanks a lot Raymond!

We are rural, as pretty much of all of the Island of Gozo, cock is not next door ,but can be heard at a considerable distance. Thank you for your other kind comments, much appreciated.

Ta Mananni - total 5 star experience
We have just spent 2 weeks at Ta Mananni and did not want to leave and return to the UK. Its situation on the edge of Qala is superb, with breathtaking sea views of Malta and Comino on the doorstep. We recommend this "oasis" without hesitation. As previously mentioned by other reviewers, Raymond, the owner, was a wonderful host, who went out of his way to help us out, eg lending us his laptop so that we could book our return aircraft seats. First class in every way!

Just lovely
Our 2nd stay in this lovely farmhouse. Its well equipped and in a great location. The pool area is very good and where we spent all of our time. Charles the man who services the pool is unobtrusive and very nice to chat to. Still haven't managed to meet Raymond yet as we keep missing each other, but all communication via email has been responded to very quickly. We will definitely be back for a 3rd stay. Would recommend this farmhouse.

Absolutely Fantastic!
The owner responded to all my email enquiries promptly and let us use the property earlier than the arrival time of 4.00pm which was greatly appreciated. The property was spotless and had absolutely everything we required. It was in a great location for bars and restaurants. Our particular favourite was D Bar; the fillet steak is the best! Hondoq beach was a short drive away which we enjoyed along with a music festival which was hosted during our stay and recommended by the owner. All in all a fabulous place to stay and enjoy the beautiful island of Gozo. We hope to return soon.. Hazel

Great house and location
This house has been beautifully and carefully remodeled, and is in a quiet neighborhood in a small town. The pool and patio are gorgeous and we sat out there even though it was too cold to swim when we were there. The house is a 10-minute walk to restaurants and small markets in the church square; don't miss Zeppi's for aperitifs or coffee. The owner was extremely helpful in telling us about special events (the fireworks competition!) and other sights to see, and paid us a visit from Malta. He also provided some basics in the refrigerator for our arrival in case the mini-markets were closed.

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is beautiful. Very spacious and very clean. As well as the enclosed courtyard garden and pool area, there are two terraces. The location is very convenient, just 2 mins drive from the ferry, and great places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. 10 mins in car to Victoria with the citadel (and also Lidl!) Raymond very helpful before and during stay. Thanks

Well kept, spacious property in a lovely area
Had a great relaxing stay early October 2018. The Villa is clean and well furbished. Gozo is a lovely interesting Island and well set up for a nice relaxing holiday. Good area for sight seeing and the view 100m from the Villa across the islands is outstanding. Enjoyed our stay for the week immensely and would be prepared to go back again. The Villa is within good walking distance of the town centre with bars and a couple of small shops. No negative comments on the Villa or surroundings.

Great place, quiet location
The property is very well equipped with good outdoor space and a lovely pool (much needed in the 30-pus degree temperatures we enjoyed). Location in Qala is out of the way and quiet and yet there is access to nice little restaurants,a couple of bars, mini-markets and a pharmacy. Perfect for us.

Fabulous villa for a relaxing holiday.
Villa is very well equipped especially the kitchen. The area is quiet and a short walk from supermarkets, the bus stop and restaurants. The pool is excellent and just what's needed in such hot weather. The wifi and tv service are very good. We enjoyed visiting various places in Gozo and visited Malta and the Blue Lagoon. We hired a boat and went round Comino which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would recommend this accommodation to others.

What a wonderful week!
Our week at Ta Mananni did not disappoint on any level. We had fantastic weather all week and a beautiful place to come back to each evening. The villa is incredibly spacious; had everything we needed and was very nicely presented. The air-conditioning was very useful for the hot nights! Raymond has been a superb host throughout and we were particularly pleased with the level of communication - nothing was too much trouble for him. He responded quickly and thoughtfully to all our emails, giving us plenty of very useful information and tips. Raymond made us feel very valued as guests from our initial enquiry right through to our return home. There are still many things we want to do on Gozo and would return to Ta Mananni without question. Thank you, Raymond!

Perfection
This was our 4/5th stay at this house - so many now that we are losing count but I think that speaks volumes for how much we enjoy going to Raymond's villa. It is a beautiful and imposing house with masses of room for 6 people. The pool area is delightful and our granddaughters who joined us for several days with our daughter thoroughly enjoyed themselves swimming and playing in the pool along with Sparkle the unicorn (inflatable)! The village of Qala has all you need for a quiet, away from it all break with small supermarkets that sell everything and several restaurants serving delicious food. As Gozo is so small, nowhere is much more than half an hour away so easy to get around and see all it has to offer. Raymond is the perfect host and gentleman and nothing is too much trouble for him. I speak from the heart as I left items in the safe and after a panicky message from me he, in his completely unruffled way, promised to get them back to me. What a star!! If you are looking for a great holiday in a beautiful house on a lovely island, we would recommend Ta' Mananni without hesitation.

Property of great character with excellent pool area.
We loved our stay a Ta Mananni. The property was well maintained and the people we met there were very welcoming and helpful (owner, handyman, pool guy, housekeepers). Even the local cat , Ginger, was super friendly. We especially loved the secluded pool area where we spent much of our time. The village Qala is lovely and the villa is well positioned to take advantage of the local bars, restaurants and mini markets (D-Bar was great). Gozo is beautiful with plenty to do there including exploring the beaches and the capital Victoria. We would definitely return to Gozo and this property. Thanks for a great stay Ray and staff.

A Lovely Peaceful Oasis
We are older people and had never been to Gozo before.We chose Gozo and not Malta itself for its reviews that suggested a quieter less congested place . Ta Mananni, is a charming renovated and fully equipped three bedroom house ten minutes from the Malta/ Gozo ferry in Quala.Make sure you have good directions to the house. We arrived on the dark and hunted a bit to find the right entrance. If you go late ,take a flashlight! The garden area is occupied by a lovely swimming pool and well supplied with loungers.We went late in the season and we had good sunny weather although the pool had cooled off a bit for old bones! The house has all the equipment one could want including full kitchen,full bathrooms and washing machine One needs a rental car to properly explore and we got one easily from the Valletta airport.about fourty minutes to the ferry and a thirty minute ferry ride see you there. Parking outside is free and easy .In a few places,it can be crowded and a smallish car is a good idea as the roads and lanes are small We had a lovely time,Raymond and his staff,housekeeper ,handyman pool msn are efficient and very pleasant and local restaurants are good for all tastes. There is a good Lidl supermarket,excellent fish shop,excellent coffee and lots of local little stores.We went to the Opera as there is a Season on Gozo and this was an excellent production of Aida with some splendid voices. We immersed ourselves in the history and buildings of Malta and Gozo ,had a lovely time and would highly recommend. this property.
