What a beautiful and memorable stay! The hospitality, charm, and comfort of this place made our time in Italy even more special. It was thoughtfully prepared, with all the little extras, including good coffee. We also appreciated how cool it was when we returned from some seriously hot days out. Wonderful stay!

This apartment is perfect! Location is in walking distance to so many things! The owner was very helpful and communicative and assisted us with private transportation and answered any questions I had. The apartment was clean and the check in process was easy! I would highly recommend renting this property and when we return to Rome we will certainly stay here again!

The apartment was charming and spacious. Felt like an Italian resident. Check in was good with a lovely lady named Pina. She used a language translator on her phone to help communicate. Loved the place and location. Bed could have been a little more comfortable, but not too bad. Walked everywhere. Only real negative was there was construction in the space below us and they made an ungodly racket starting early in the morning. Was not unbearable as we are early risers. Certainly no fault of the VRBO owner, but might be worth noting on the listing. Overall absolutely loved the place

A wonderful, comfortable apartment full of character. We were given a very warm welcome. Location is great - short walk to Pantheon, Trastevere, Piazza Novano etc and only around 25mins to Colosseum. We went in a hot week but the apartment was nice and cool. Well equipped, great shower. A great base to explore Rome!

Wonderful Apartment!

The apartment was amazing! It was like a museum decorated throughout like stepping back in time in Italy. The communication was good before my arrival. I let the owner know I was coming in on a late flight (1AM arrival) and could they accommodate. They assured me that would be okay and his housekeeper would be there to meet me. Right before my arrival the housekeeper informed me it was too late to meet and could I stop at her mothers house along the way and pick up the keys. Her mother was very nice and I was able to pick up the keys. The taxi driver charged me an extra 10 euros for the stop. Because I was in late and had no plans in the morning I was hoping to sleep in when I was awoken 0830 by a constant very loud drilling in the walls. This went on all morning. I could not sleep let alone here myself think. So much for a relaxing day. I recorded the very loud continuous sound and sent it to the owner. They apologized and said they would find out what was going on. Apparently the workers would be there my entire stay. 3 nights. Fortunately I was up the next day early touring so I was not there. If I wanted to enjoy the apartment during the day I would have moved. The housekeeper did not show up the following day but her mom came to check me in who did not speak english but was very nice and we managed with a translation app. The apartment was beautiful but I recommend to the owners to let the renter know if there is construction going on and maybe give a discount.

Spacious and great location

We enjoyed our four days in Rome in this spacious, centrally located apartment. The communication was great and check in smooth.We were within a 30 minute walk of the sites we visited and there are restaurants and cages close by. Great stay!

WONDERFUL APARTMENT

What a lovely place to stay in Rome! Absolutely wonderful hosts, met is at the apartment, walked us through everything and were very helpful and gracious. The apartment is AMAZING! Only a 10 minute walk from the Pantheon, and literally right across the street from Emma’s! Many other places to visit close by as well. The apartment is a spacious comfortable quiet and relaxing dwelling with so many interesting baubles and collectibles to look view. We LOVE this property and will stay there again when we go back to Rome! Such gracious hosts! Meeting Mama when we checked in was such a treat! Grazie Mille!

Beautiful apartment in a sweet neighborhood

The apartment is absolutely lovely, perfect spot to explore Rome. I could absolutely stay here and feel at home for months. My only complaint would be there was construction in the building room adjacent to mine and they started working at 8:30am every morning. It was pretty constant noise throughout the day with a small break in the afternoon. This pretty much made it impossible to stay in and enjoy the property. I know these kind of things happen and it is not the fault of the owners, just a bummer it happened to be the two days that I was there. Would love to stay again in the future.The managers were very easy to communicate with.

Best Location!

If you are looking to do the main tourist sites in Rome (Pantheon, Trevi, Vatican, Colosseum, etc.), you couldn’t ask for a better location! We walked everywhere! The host was super accommodating with allowing us to drop our luggage early The restaurant right across the street was great as well! The mattress was a little too firm for our liking, but everything else was perfect!

Quiet apartment with capocino 1 block away!

A delightful abode lay waiting just a staircase away. My husband and I loved this apartment in the heart of Rome, on a quiet street. This place has a shower, a tiny kitchen, homey dining table, a library filled with books, and a comfy bed. You could hardly ask for more.

Hidden gem

This is truly a hidden gem in a beautiful area of Rome. In such a big city, it is hard to find large locations in quiet areas. This apartment is huge for two people! We loved having drinks in the living room, listening to music and the sounds of the city downstairs. The bedroom is very quiet and dark at night because it faces the indoor patio of the building, so we slept great. You can find taxis and buses 5 minutes away, but if you enjoy walking, the Coloseum is only a 20 minute walk from your front door. Trastevere across the river is a 10 min walk away and lots of fun. Our check-in was very easy, with signora Pina explaining everything we needed to know. Francesca was also a quick text away. There’s a supermarket just 3 minutes away, and Elysium downstairs has great pizza and beers. We loved our time here and can’t wait to be back!

Comfortable apartment in convenient location

We stayed three nights in this location and found it to be a wonderful respite at the end of long days of sporting Rome. The location was convenient and safe with a welcoming atmosphere that felt almost like home (if we were lucky enough to have an Italian home). The accommodations weren’t luxurious but were comfortable and good value for the cost. Fabio was easy to communicate, ensured our accommodations were comfortable, and provided helpful recommendations for local eateries. If you are looking for a modest apartment in a safe and accessible neighborhood within convenient walking distance of Rome’s many attractions, I highly recommend this property.

A cold stay in Rome.

On the positive side this is a large comfortable apartment with a lot of character (old wood ceilings, some antique furniture, a big library...), an adequate kitchen and nice bathroom. A convenient location within walking distance of several main monuments and of buses, trams and taxis.On the other side, the kitchen utensils could be updated: very few mugs, cups, teaspoons 
 and the pots and pans are are old and of poor quality. The downside to our stay in this apartment was that it was cold. As the owners explained, municipal (?) regulations limit the temperature in rented tourist apartments to 19-20ÂșC and the heating to 10 hours a day. As the A/C unit in the bedroom and the radiators in the rest of the apartment are set at these limits and the temperature never went below 20Âș, the heating never went on and we wore our anoraks throughout our stay, possibly due as well to a damp atmosphere.The owners made a consession for our last day by allowing us to increase the temperature of the A/C heater, but we were unable to turn off the timer. This concession begged the question: why exempt A/C units from the rules and not radiators? And others: are these limits applicable only to tourist apartments or to hotels too; or indeed, to all Roman houses? We doubt it. One more note for the unaware tourist: on arrival we had to pay in cash a 50 tourist tax (5 /day x 2 persons). This tax was not anounced on the Expedia-Vrbo booking website. (Nor were the heating regulations!).

Location and apartment were FANTASTIC!!

Our family of four(2 teenage boys) loved the apartment. The check-in process was easy with lots of helpful information. The apartment was VERY large and is filled with lots of treasures from all over, making the scene even better. The room is set in a perfect location, easy to access all the sites. A main taxi stand and bus stop are 2 minutes from the door. Highly recommend this location.

Logro lo imposible

Realmente la experiencia logro algo que creĂ­amos imposible, mejorar la estadĂ­a en Roma..Roma es una de nuestras ciudades favoritas, y habernos alojado acĂĄ fue llegar a la gloria absoluta. Fabio es un excelente anfitriĂłn, Pina nos recibiĂł tan cĂĄlida y amorosamente que no hay palabras de agradecimiento suficientes. El departamento es enorme, decorado de una manera inusual pero exquisito, tiene todo lo necesario para un hogar y ademĂĄs el grado de limpieza es superior. Y la ubicaciĂłn es absolutamente inmejorable, pudimos caminar hacia todos los sitios de Roma que visitamos. Esperamos. No ansias tener la oportunidad de volver a Roma y alojarnos nuevamente acĂĄ. Gracias por estĂĄ semana inolvidable!
