A slice of rustic bliss
Beautiful rustic charming house with a lovely pool all secluded away high in the hills above Sitges. Perfect location to relax and unwind, totally private property not overlooked at all. The hosts are a nice family and ensure you find what you need. This is like a lived in family house rather than a clinical modern showhome. We had a slight issue with the hot water one day but it was dealt with quickly once reported. Love to stay again!

Nice pool but a few issues with the Villa
Stayed for 11 nights. Party of 8 (4 adults, 4 children ages 8-15). Swimming pool was lovely and well maintained and the Villa is well equipped with good WiFi but is overall tired looking, cluttered and needs attention to make the property more suitable for guests. In particular, the kitchen surfaces, cupboards etc need replacing as they look grubby and worn, the front gate often took a few attempts to open, the ping pong table surface was peeling off on one corner making it harder to play on, and the outdoor seating spaces (other than the pool area) weren’t clean when we arrived so we made little use of them during our stay. Upstairs we had persistent issues with ants in the 2nd bedroom which was quite unpleasant at night (use of the 5th bedroom didn’t suit our group as that was in a separate building and so too far away from the children) and the bunk bedroom air conditioning unit also leaked when left on overnight. On one occasion we lost all power to the whole property which left us in total darkness and whilst this was resolved easily in about an hour after contacting the owner (as neighbour didn’t know where the fuse box was) this was a scary experience for the children and so some basic instructions should be left available for guests in such emergencies at the start. Access to the property isn’t straightforward so definitely requires a car, preferably an SUV or 4x4. Overall, we loved Sitges/Barcelona but a few issues with the Villa spoilt the experience somewhat.

Hello Paul I regret the experience and it is a shame that you have not contacted me before, for the ants we always have a spray that we use, and that would be one less nuisance, and we found out about the kitchen and the Ping Pong as soon as we returned from vacation , the table must have been left open and with the last rain the surface has risen a little, and the kitchen countertop, apparently it will need a change due to misuse, and we will immediately fix it so that the house is presentable back and in the best condition Thank you for your comment

Family Vacay at Villa Libelula
Our extended family of 9 felt right at home at this wonderful house. Lots of space for all with multiple bedrooms (each with A/C thank goodness). Lots of options for family dinner both inside and out. The house is well maintained and very clean. Lots of amenities outside from a lovely pool to hammock and sitting areas. We even used the built in charcoal grill one night. Katerina was excellent to deal with. Her husband Hernan met us and gave us a tour of the house. They even left a welcome basket of goodies to start our visit. We would love to return anytime. The restaurant nearby called Can Lloses was exceptional. Great food and service al fresco dining outdoors.

Great holiday
Lovely rustic villa in a very peaceful and scenic setting. Hernan was a great host, and both made sure we got to the property ok and gave us a thorough tour when we arrived.

A very nice place a large and comfortable house
The house is located in a convenient location although a bit difficult to reach for the first time (GPS does not recognize the place Very convenient as a departure base for excursions in the vicinity A 10-minute drive from the nearest city is a train station and shopping centers We enjoyed the week we were in The place is definitely stuffed Although air conditioners are missing in the rooms and there is a soft one on the 2nd floor and is not enough on warm days

Great house, lovely quiet location and well stocked with things to help your holiday.
3 x couples, 4 x kids under 3 and all had a great time. Pool time and hosepipe action was a great entertainer and the living area and bbq were great. Thanks Katarina and also to Tom for showing us round.
