Welcome to la Fleur Sauvage,
our lovely cozy cottage in the Morvan
in the southernmost tip of the beautiful Parc Régional du Morvan, a 243,000 hectare protected natural park in Burgundy. A hilly, wooded landscape with numerous rivers, lakes, small farms and old villages.

Situated in a valley overlooking rolling hills and farmland, with a very spacious garden of about 1800m2, our lovely holiday home is sporadically available for rent.

Exterior
In front of this typical Morvan house with characteristic stone walls, there is a wooden picnic table where you can enjoy the tranquility, nature and of course the beautiful views.
On the side of the house there is an outdoor village with bistro table, where you can enjoy the morning sun and your breakfast, surrounded by the scents and colors of the various herbs that grow and bloom there. Cut fresh herbs to your heart’s content for your (evening) dinner!

We have a spacious garden (1800m2) with plenty of sun and a number of fruit trees. Feel free to pick a delicious fresh (unsprayed) plum or apple!

Through the adjacent path you can make lovely walks in the beautiful surroundings, also for the (experienced) cyclist. A true walking and cycling paradise!

The house is suitable for 4 persons and equipped with all comforts (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, spacious kitchen, living room, dining room, 1 toilet, terrace and large garden).

Ideal for a couple with or without children, up to 4 people.

Layout of the house:
Ground Floor

Entrance to the cozy country kitchen with modern cooking equipment (ceramic hob and electric oven / grill) and equipped with an Airfryer, rice cooker, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, two refrigerators, various cooking utensils, crockery etc. (no dishwasher)

Spacious cozy living room with fireplace and adjoining dining room.
With lounge sofa, two Papasan chairs in which you can nestle in front of the cozy warm wood stove.
From the living room and dining room you have a beautiful view of the ornamental garden and surroundings.

Modern bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and closet.

Top floor

Through the spiral staircase in the living room you reach the two spacious bedrooms, with wooden beamed ceilings and new box spring mattress beds.

In the first bedroom you have a double bed (box spring) mattress of 180cm x 200cm with extra deck mattress, sofa, chest of drawers and clothes rack.

Through a unique (lowered) passage (with sliding door) you enter the second bedroom. This bedroom has a double bed consisting of two (box spring) mattresses each 90cm x 200cm with extra deck mattress, a (50s) table with matching chairs, chest of drawers, clothes rack and own entrance / exit with two-part farmhouse door and outside stairs.

If you want to stay in the autumn/winter months there are two electric heaters and electric blanket available.

Extras
On arrival we would like to welcome you with a bottle of delicious Burgundian wine and some small basic groceries, so you can enjoy the Burgundian life right away!

Unique: Honesty Bar

After a long walk, bike ride or a visit to one of the many sights and activities the Morvan has to offer, there is nothing finer than to end the day with a nice drink at our ‘Honesty Bar’. These can be found in the living room.

We ask you to note down what you have used. You will be charged for this upon departure.

Our holiday home is open from 15 Februari to 31 October.

Weekly rentals in high season and off season (school holidays and extended weekends) from Saturday 15.00 to Saturday morning 10.00 a.m.

Exclusive: Tourist tax (age 18+).

Attention: We do not offer a towel set for the bathroom. Please bring your own.

Pets
A dog is allowed in the holiday home after consultation.

Non smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the house.

Tourist tax
Persons 18+: €0.80 per person, per day.

Cleaning
The cleaning costs will be charged as standard.
Total: €50 and if you come with a dog: €60.
To be paid on location at check-in to the caretaker.

Price bedding: €25 per double bed.
