Sunny Day Hideaway - Private! Fire pit, hot tub, close to Deadwood!

Sunny Day Hideaway is a newly remodeled home only 3 miles from Deadwood on a well maintained, wide gravel road. You'll love this home-away-from-home.  The 3.5 acre property gives you the feeling of privacy, a big back yard, great scenery and open spaces. You'll love the location too - close to hiking/biking trails and minutes from the ski area, snowmobile trails, horse riding trails, great restaurants and breweries. Almost everything in the home is either new or custom designed and built for a unique touch.

Walk in to an open living area with comfy seating and a smart TV, dining room and kitchen on the main level with seating for 12. The full kitchen has everything you need to eat at home and enjoy the back deck or patio dining. Amenities include a grill right off the kitchen on the upstairs deck and all the appliances you need- from coffee pot to crock pot and everything in between.
The main level has 2 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a King bed, attached full bath with tub, walk in closet and smart TV as well as a printer for those of you who can’t quite leave work at work when you are on vacation.  The other bedroom has a bunk bed with full-over-full beds. There is also a half-bath, laundry room and garage access on the main level. For your vehicles and toys, you will find a large double stall garage with plenty of parking in front.

Downstairs you'll find another spacious living area with smart TV, game table, walk-out to the patio, outdoor fire pit and a 7 person hot tub. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs - 2 queen size bedrooms as well as a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a crib in the large walk in closet.  The bean bag in the lower living area pops out to a full-size bed and is a great extra sleeping option. The comfy sectional is the perfect spot for your family or group to enjoy a movie or TV show, play games or socialize.  Direct TV and Wi-Fi are included.
Whether you are looking for a location close to a lot of action and activities or a quiet get away, this home is perfect.

Great stay!

Our family traveled out for a nearby wedding. We enjoyed every minute at the home. Comfortable, clean, quiet, and well taken care of. Comfy couches, plenty of seating for meals, deck off kitchen was great for morning coffee and watching the wildlife. Spacious downstairs and upstairs gave everyone a place to relax. Wi-Fi mesh worked well for our group with decent bandwidth. Televisions were setup for streaming which my kids loved. Outdoor seating with a fire pit and hot tub was a nice bonus. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again the next time we visit the Black Hills area. Thank you for an wonderful experience!

Clean, 7 minutes to Deadwood

Nice clean property. Close to deadwood for snocross. 20 dollar cab ride before tip. Only recommendation is to have the cleaning crew empty and renew the ice in the icemaker. Would stay again, no problem.

Loved the location and the house !

We enjoyed the stay there and will be back to rent it again. Its a peaceful location, sensible house with all you need and nothing you don’t
. Sell it to me its perfect! Thanks for everything and looking to rent it again! I hope we where good tenants. We cleaned everything the best we could. Treated it as if it was our own . Thank you and we will be back .

Nice stay

Nice home for a get away. Close to Deadwood and trails to ride. Host left many amenities and made the place very user friendly. Hot tub was great. Only issue we had was spotty wi-fi.

Sweet quiet spot!

Came up with family and friends for the bike rally. The house was amazing and a great way to relax, unwind and renew from the non-stop partying during the rally. There is a dirt road that the host warned me about since we were riding bikes, but it was well maintained. The hot tub was legit as well! Thanks for the great place to stay!

great secluded location

It was a very nice home and close to both Deadwood and Sturgis. The house was clean and welcoming. I only wish there were outside seating around fire pit. The house holds 8-10 guests, but only 2 chairs in backyard next to hot tub for seating.

Awesome property!!

The house worked perfect for our family of 9. I was worried it wasn't close enough to Deadwood but the drive to and from was very scenic and didn't take long at all. Had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our family time!!

No WiFi

We did not have access to WiFi for the duration of our stay. I contacted them to let them know and asked to please have someone come take a look but no follow up or resolution was provided. The fire pit is quite a long distance from the house and is not right out the patio as suggested in the property listing. Overall we really enjoyed our stay - just wish we would have been able to use WiFi as we had no service which made it difficult to plan what we wanted to do the following day.
