Smell of tar
The entrance did look like something different than I expected.... So narrow to hide my boyfriend/girlfriend and myself... I wanted to keep luggage before check-in, but nobody appeared at the check-in desk, which had so small window staffs can hide their faces! Similar as a Japanese typical pachinko prize counter. Although I found a CCTV camera there, I wonder if I was monitored. What were they doing?
After I checked in and entered my room, loud music there! How could I turn it off? Its switch was beside the bed. But unfortunately, I could not turn off terrible smell of tar!!! Omg! This was the only hotel I could book in Tokyo. If I had known what this "hotel" was like, I had given up all my travel to Tokyo!
Some part of wallpaper is peeled and colour-faded, and the facility looked insanitary.
The key to this room was some kind of an IC card but I had to leave at the check in desk every time I go out.
There were sufficient amenities.
The refrigerator was a mini bar and had no room to keep my own things.
I couldn't find a window in my room.
