Old time luxury- magnificent!
Loved every minute of our stay at Danieli. From the arrival by boat (costs extra) to the room itself and the amazing rooftop breakfast area. Loved the views from the rooftop terrace at breakfast. Conveniently located close to Piazza San Marco. My highest recommendations for this hotel.

Excellent unique historic hotel
Unique historic hotel. We had a fantastic stay, everything from the gourmet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canale, the beautiful room, to the comfortable lobby-bar was great. The service was excellent in a natural friendly way. We got very well taken care of, with an upgrade of rooms and some very nice special treatment due to a special birthday. We truly recommend it and looking forward to coming back.

3rd time staying at The Danelli, always a delight. Current upgrades to the hotel are unobtrusive and I will be looking forward to seeing the results in the future.

This is our second time at Hotel Danieli. What a wonderful place! The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable- special kudos to concierge Max - however, since we plan to come back and we want this hotel to remain as one of the best hotels in Venezia, I recommend that they improve their room service menu- we ordered a chicken sandwich (34€) and they brought us a cold chicken sandwich that we could’ve bought at any 7 eleven @ $3.00 - no garnish whatsoever, not even chips or a small fruit or any kind of detail that reminds you the great experience of being at a luxury 5 star hotel in Venice, just the plain sandwich on a small white plate.

Everything about the Danieli sparkled, starting with the caring and competent staff. They anticipated and surprised at every turn! We were upgraded on arrival (thank you) and enjoyed a relaxing and wonderful four days. The location could not be better which was really helpful as it was pouring rain on our arrival. Truly excellent. Already planning our return trip.

We loved every moment of our stay , all the staff were attentive and always on hand with good advice and information. Nothing was too much and we couldn’t have asked for better service… The property is stunning and didn’t disappoint on any point. Certainly a five star rating. If there is one little thing, I myself would like to have possibility of making a cup of coffee in the room .

The concierge services were weak but the rest were great. Concierge weren’t able to obtain reservations at places we were able to go to because they were not willing to provide time options. Absurd! Clearly this area needs training before they can be a Four Seasons

I wish there were more dining options near the hotel. The room was a little noisy from the outside activities. Staff was great and provided great services. Boats ordered were a little on the slow side. Very good experience and very clean hotel. Rooftop dining with the view was phenomenal.

Danieli, Accademia, Guggenheim - a perfect weeken
We stayed for 3 luxurious nights. The room and maid service were excellent as were Check-in and the Concierge. Breakfast on the Terrace was sensational. Dinner on the night before was beautifully presented with perhaps slightly less attention to actual taste.

hotel Danieli a Venezia, un Hotel a 5 stelle storico come non mai, peccato che la struttura lascia a desiderare . La camera non era pulita come si conviene ad un 5 stelle. se ci ritorno? direi di no. Fino a quando chi amministra questo bellissimo hotel non comprende che il turismo sano di qualità esige un trattamento di qualità direi che non ci siamo e lo sconsigliero'... una delusione! lo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception ma non "sentivano"... Invito l'amministrazione dell'hotel di esimersi da imbarazzanti e polemiche risposte al post.
