Travelers can experience every unique part of Washington D.C. while staying at our rooms in the iconic Liz building. The revitalized, thriving, and multicultural neighborhood inspires our luxurious rooms, designed to showcase vibrant and colorful environments for creative minds to thrive.

Welcome home to your adventure in the Capital city, where your daily living needs are preserved within our various luxury rooms. Whether you are traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends, our dwellings are complete with local artwork, Apple TVs, local Small Planes coffee, Fellow Pour Over Sets, Parachute linens, Public Goods amenities, and high-end furnishing from Interior Define, Blue Dot, CB2, and more. This two-bedroom suite includes a complete kitchen, two private bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, washer and dryer, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. For added comfort, our suites are filled with lush textures, soothing hues, and Victorian elements inspired by nearby Logan Circle.

Garage parking is available, but spots are very limited. Parking will need to be reserved and paid for in advance. Please contact us if you're interested in adding parking to your reservation.

We offer a seamless self check-in process. After booking, you will receive a link to fill out our security verification portal, and once your reservation date arrives you will receive all of the details you need to access your apartment suite via our keyless entry system. We will be available by email and text should you need anything before and during your experience.

Property Note: The Liz places you in the heart of the city, steps from its best restaurants and attractions. This prime location comes with the authentic sounds of city life – traffic, pedestrians, the occasional siren, and the ongoing expansion of the city (think construction). While we've taken measures to create a peaceful respite inside, embracing the city's energy is all part of the Liz experience.

Nice location

The location was excellent and the decor was nice. When we checked in which as very easy we noticed we only had 4 coat hangers and no wash or hand towels at all. There were 3 adults staying there. We contacted them and they said because of time of day they would have them the next morning. Never got any or heard back for them.

A nice location but the place is not clean and has issues

The location cannot be beat. The apartment had a musty smell when we arrived that we could not get rid of even after opening the windows. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning. Some of the rugs and furniture were beat up and should be replaced. The folks from black swan were responsive generally. They suggested that they could have provided air purification, but that would not have helped as what was needed was a solid cleaning, including mopping. I don't think I'd stay again unless I could confirm that the place had been thoroughly cleaned. The description of the unit was not completely accurate.

My forever DC spot !

I’ve stayed in many hotels in DC through the years and so glad I’ve now discovered Liz Black Swan. Our stay here exceeded any hotel accommodations. Every detail of the 2 bedroom apartment was perfect - clean, comfortable, modern, fully loaded with everything we needed for our stay. And the location on 14th street was so walkable to all the great restaurants.Check in process was easy and the host was a great communicator. Highly recommend

Another satisfying visit to Liz by Black Swan

We have stayed there 3 times and been pleased each time. The location is close to many types of food, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, coffee shops, retail stores, and places to get adult beverages. It is an easy walk to many places in town or a short Uber ride. The neighborhood has townhomes of so many different architectural styles and the flowers in the front gardens were extra beautiful this trip. This time we were extra impressed with the desk/concierge staff. They were friendly, remembered who we were and were there to assist without us having to ask. For those who are concerned about staying cool at night, I got hot in the bed each night, no matter how cool we kept it.

A Gem in Washington DC

I had some concern about leaving a great review in fear of this unit becoming hard to book in the future! It is fantastic and completely as advertised. Lots of room. Full kitchen. Great WiFi. Appletv. Walking distance to 14th street shops and restaurants. There is even a restaurant on the gound floor of the building. I will definitely come back.
