I stayed at The Pineapple Beach Club with my husband in March, for 7 days.
Pros:
-beautiful, but small, beach. The water and sand is gorgeous!
-Every single person that worked at the club was incredibly friendly and attentive. I never had to wait for more than a minute for a drink at the bar; everyone said hello when walking by; the waitstaff at the buffet were SO attentive - constantly refilling water, asking if we wanted a drink from the bar, removing empty plates, etc.
-Loved the excursion to Shirley Heights that they plan. It is a must see on a Sunday!
-The bed was very comfortable.
-The gym was very good.
Cons:
-The lack of beach towels! On the first day I had to wait until almost 2 in the afternoon to get a beach towel. I blame the guests just as much as the resort. Almost everyone took 2 beach towels, put them on a beach chair, and then leave. I have never been to a resort that had such a problem with this. There definitely needs to be more unbrellas or palapas with the strength of the sun. It's impossible to lay in the sun for more than 10 minutes without getting too hot and/or burning.
-The food was just okay. I am used to eating all-inclusive meals at Club Med in Turks and Caicos, and the food at the Pineapple Beach Club just doesn't compare. There were a few very good choices, but most of the food was pretty basic.
We enjoyed out stay, but will probably go back to T&C next time.
