Absolutely Disgusting â DO NOT STAY HERE. Should Be Removed from VRBO.
We booked this property for 4 nights as a family of four â and checked out after just ONE NIGHT because the unit was so filthy and neglected it was completely unacceptable.
Where do I begin? Upon arrival, it was immediately clear the unit hadnât been properly cleaned. The sheets were soiled, the dishtowels were stained, and surfaces were grimy and floors sticky underfoot. Several basic items were broken, including the microwave, lamps, and even cutlery. It honestly looked like the place had damage from a big party, not a vacation rental youâd expect to pay good money for.
But the final straw? My young daughter stepped on a sewing needle that was embedded in the carpet. Thatâs not just unacceptable â itâs dangerous.
We packed up and left first thing the next morning, informing the property owner immediately. His response was completely inappropriate and dismissive. He demanded photos of every issue (as though I should have documented the whole disaster instead of caring for my child and trying to get my family out), denied that the unit was dirty, and even suggested I had never accessed the suite at all â an unbelievable accusation.
We have received no refund to date.
