One of the most beautiful postcards in Rio de Janeiro offers stunning views of the entire city. Inaugurated in 1912, the Sugar Loaf Cable Car was the first cable car in Brazil and the third in the world, connecting the Morro da Urca to the Sugar Loaf Hill. Since then, over 40 million people have used the cable cars. From the top of the two hills, a breathtaking landscape of the city is revealed, including Botafogo Inlet, Copacabana waterfront and Guanabara Bay entrance.
