Combining our expert knowledge with any of your groups personal recommendations, your professional wine guide will choose 4 boutique wineries for you to enjoy.

Start with a morning pick-up from Adelaide around 9:15am for the short 45 minute drive to McLaren Vale. Our time in McLaren Vale focuses on showcasing boutique, sustainable, mainly family-owned wineries that produce outstanding quality wines that you won't find at all the big liquor chains. You may also visit more world-renowned names like d'Arenberg or Hardy's should people in your group specifically desire to.

You'll savour wine tastings at two different boutique wineries before a delicious restaurant lunch at one of our fabulous restaurant partners. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch.

After lunch you may step things up a notch and visit a winery producing much richer and heavier wines, venture into the Blewett Springs subregion, or visit a tiny producer making organic wines. Over the first half of the day, your guide will gather your groups interests and choose appropriate winery locations for the second half of the day.

Your day is not only about having fun but also trying to be diplomatic to the group while showcasing a variety of styles and producers. We want you to learn about stylistic approach, the difference that site makes, the influence that the winemaker can have on the wine - anything to help you become a more informed consumer, so you can decipher the jargon on the back of the bottle and make better wine choices.
