The hotel doesn't seem that old, but the room was pretty worn out (lots of peeling wallpaper). The biggest issue was that the WiFi has such poor reception in the room it was unusable.

Located not too far from Hakata train station, an easy walk. Good size room, friendly staff. Highly recommended for a stay in Fukuoka.

The staff, was probably the best staff I’ve ever met. Everybody was very helpful. They would go out of their way to look up directions for me if I was trying to go somewhere. And gave me food recommendations.
I will definitely be staying there next time I visit.
