Perfect location, perfect house!
Thank you for giving us an incredible home base for exploring Texas Hill Country! We loved all the spaces for gathering, inside and out. Renting both the "main house" and the Casita for my parents gave them plenty of privacy, which was wonderful. We adored petting and feeding Espresso, Latte, Lorenzo, and even Miss Cookie the cow! For the bird watchers among us, it was a thrill to watch a crested cara cara fly right over the house as we sat on the comfy couch on the patio! We enjoyed the hot tub nearly every night, and felt cozy and safe inside the one stormy night. The stargazing was spectacular, and the eclipse! Watching the April 8 total solar eclipse from the hill behind the house gave us nearly 360 degree views of that amazing, breathtaking event. Thank you, Gianna, for being so responsive and thoughtful before and throughout our stay! It was very hard to leave your lovely home and those spectacular views. We hope to return someday soon!

Hidden hill country
We took a mom’s and kids getaway here in January and had a blast. The house has everything you could need, and more. The huge fire pit and hot tub out back were so much fun. The best part hands down are the cute animals! The kids loved them so much and didn’t want to go home! We also walked the huge property and were in love with the views, so gorgeous! We will definitely be back for another mom’s getaway! P.S. the house is about 20 min from and gas station so make sure you have what you need.. you won’t want to leave once you get out there!

Awesome Place to Stay
My wife and I took our kids and grandchildren here for a Christmas vacation and the place was awesome. Met the owner and he was very nice and enjoyed talking with him. I highly recommend this place for family or a group of friends to go and have a great time.

Bachelorette Trip!
We had the BEST time! The animals were probably the best part of the whole trip, honestly. The house was super clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. My sister is the bride-to-be and we made all the best memories thanks to Fredericksburg and this lovely home!

Best Place I Have Stayed!
We stayed here over Thanksgiving & it was the perfect house for our family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast and the common areas were big enough to hold all of us. The outdoor area was great, our nephews had so much fun with the animals, and it was the perfect distance from town where you get the views but are only a short drive to all of the stuff you want to do. The only complaint would be water pressure/not having much hot water but other than that I cannot recommend this place enough!

Girls Getaway
We booked this home away from town for our girls getaway and were beyond pleased with our stay. The drive up to the house was beautiful! As we arrived to the house we were greeted by Lorenzo and his crew, what a pleasant surprise. All the animals were a bonus and were the highlight of our trip! The house was equipped with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for all 9 of us. The hot tub and fire area is where we spent most of our time taking in the beautiful scenery. Book it! You will be glad you did. Thank You for sharing this home with us! We will definitely be back :)

Peaceful Retreat
We booked this beautiful home at the last minute after our father passed away and we were in town for his memorial. It was the perfect spot for healing and time together. The home had everything we needed for a restful stay. The beds were comfortable and the views were incredible. The kids loved seeing the llama and donkeys come to greet us each day.

The view was amazing and the living space was perfect! We had 4 couples staying for a 40th birthday weekend. It was perfect, everyone had their own space and we were able to hang out and enjoy our time together without being on top of each other. The owners are very nice. We had to the most glorious time at the Farmhouse. The house is one of the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in, everything you could desire in the kitchen. The home is absolutely fabulous as are all the wonderful animals that come to visit!

Fantastic pre Christmas week
We had the best time in the week 12.18 thru 12.25 before Christmas visiting from Massachusetts. GIANNA was absolutely born to host.. Everything from clear concise communication to making recommendations on food anf activities..she even decorated a Christmas tree for us!! You can fill out all ur check ✔️ with this rental in terms of comfortable beds..good spacing..and a friendly Llama and 2 donkeys. That by itself sets this place apart. Highly recommended...

The property and host was great! Was the perfect house to play games and enjoy hanging out together. Highly recommend! The host gave great tips for helping to locate a bus to pick up a big group to go to our wine tasting tour. She also recommended a local bar not far from the house that had a great atmosphere.

Fantastic Getaway
We absolutely loved our stay! The house was perfect down to every detail including a beautiful welcome sign and wine to greet us. We are very big on a nice kitchen to be able to cook in and this kitchen had absolutely everything we needed and more. There was even decor that let us set a beautiful table for Thanksgiving. Gianna, the host, was so kind and answered every question I had. She checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. We cannot say enough good things about this Vrbo! We really hope to have the chance to come again!

Gorgeous home and view
There were 8 people in our group and we all enjoyed our time. The view from the backyard is gorgeous, we enjoyed the fire pit and cooked s'mores as well. Home was equipped with everything that we needed. In the check information ( once booked) it does say there is not ice machine located on premises or with the fridge so we brought our little ice machine and that worked out well. Once thing that I didn't notice in the overview was there was stairs for 2 of the bedrooms on the 2nd floor, not a big deal for us but just a little good to know information. The livestock were very friendly! 2 donkeys, 1 llama and a cow.. we brought apples and carrots in addition to the snacks the home owner left for us... The Llama did not spit one time lol. We truly enjoyed our visit here and intend on booking another time when we make our annual trip! P.S. Home owner is very nice and sweet and displayed great hospitality!

Everything we could have wanted
A great experience all around. Beautiful property, so quiet and beautiful with incredible views. Well equipped kitchen with everything we could need. Communication with the owners was smooth. We travelled with adult friends and it was the perfect location for fellowship around the campfire. The hot tub was a nice touch too and pre heated, ready for us! And dont forget the other residents... Lorenzo the Llama was a huge hit and the source of much humor! We plan to come back!

Loved the animals and pics don’t do it justice. Except the master shower which was really bad water pressure, there were a few small things that needed fixing. But that didn’t dampen the mood, we ended up extending a night and the hosts are awesome people. Hope you fix that shower because we are definitely coming back!

Loved the location, the animals and the surroundings! Constructively the property needs s little updating - specifically the showers take forever to heat up and the master shower has very low water pressure - virtually unusable. For the money spent on this property everything should work properly. We do appreciate that the staff fixed the hot tub for us after we were already checked in. We did have a great time but again it was an inconvenience having to share shower usage with our other guests. Also there was no spare roll of toilet paper in the master bathroom. Thanks, Hank

New Traditions
For starters, I have always wished to have my own house on a hill. Driving up to the property was pure joy when I realized I would have that wish granted for a few days. With the unusually warm temperatures we were able to enjoy the area and then return in the evening and gather around the fire. Everything about the place was great and Kerry was also wonderful to deal with before our arrival.

We use VRBO for all of our traveling and this property was one of the best we have ever rented. The attention to detail in this home was exceptional. Everything was provided including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, toilet spray, toilet paper, paper towels, trash sacks, as well as a fully stocked kitchen! The beds were all comfortable and the view from the house is exceptional. The home was very clean - a must for us. The home is exactly as pictured except it is better in person! The owners were extremely easy to work with and very attentive which made our trip so much easier. We all loved meeting the Llama, Donkeys and Mama Cow - so friendly and adorable! This home is wonderful and you will not be disappointed if you are thinking about renting it. We are already planning to come back next year!

This beautiful property is perfect for a family or gal pals getaway. Quiet with a gorgeous view of the Hill Country. Perfect Country Getaway
Some friends and I wanted to get out of Dallas for a few days, and this house and location was perfect! It has everything you need for cooking, and is only 15 minutes away from wineries on Hwy 290. The view is awesome, and we loved being greeted by donkeys, a llama, and a very friendly cat. We want to come back in the spring and utilize the back porch dining space and everything this property has to offer!

Family weekend in the hill country
Our family, including 8 adults, 2 infants, 3 yr old and 4 yr old were in the Fredericksburg area for a weekend outing and this farmhouse was perfect. Awesome views, great backyard area for relaxing as well as grilling and having dinner outside. Kitchen very well equipped with anything you could possibly need to prepare meals. Kids enjoyed feeding and petting Lorenzo the llama and the donkeys. Short, scenic drive to Luckenbach and lots of wineries as well as Fredericksburg. We all agreed that this place is definitely on the list to revisit... Thanks for a great weekend!!!!
