"We had an issue with the room they gave us as smelled like mildew or sewer smell. Front desk was excellent in trying to get us another room immediately. The common areas were nice and clean only other issue was pool is closed due to upcoming renovations which was disappointing as that was one reason we booked there."

Clean room & bathroom, nice, clean, comfortable bed, hot breakfast that was restocked until the end, super friendly, diverse staff. My only issue was that the indoor pool was out of order and I'd gotten up early to swim. "The property was great! Local and great location for Duke University. Good breakfast and friendly staff."

"Staff were friendly. Other hotels in area for dining and options close by. Was pleasantly surprised at the room. Had everything you needed and it was clean. Cons: no coffee maker in room. No breakfast even though listing said deli on site. Was lacking some amenities but got a quick stay it was fine."
