As a culinary I was put off by the staff handling the continental buffet. The should know not to touch trash and trash liners and then touch food items wearing the same gloves. Cross contamination is a real thing and can cost a business some real money

The shower was full of what looked like pubic hairs. There was so much hair that we couldn’t even rinse it out causing the water not to drain. Then we pulled back the covers and there were also a few hairs. We went to the front desk, asked for a refund and just drove home. It was late and we were tired but there was no way I was staying there. We were very disappointed. I stayed at this hotel years ago and had no issues.

Was not very impressed. Hallways and muggy. Hot and smelly. Free breakfast was a joke. Went down 45 min before breakfast stoped being served and everything was empty, trash bags were closed up. Workers behind the desk were standing there playing on their phones. I was very pleased to be able to get extra towels and bedding easily. Overall wouldn’t recommend this stay.

Bedroom and bathroom disgusting. Smelled like feet. Stains ALL over the walls in the bathroom. Toilet had a ring in it where the water had been sitting/not been cleaned. This is not your typical “Hampton Inn”

Unfortunately this facility was dirty and not a good area. We use Hilton hotels all the time but this place was not kept up to the standards of the brand.

Comfortable and clean
This hotel was just fine for our needs. We didn’t expect the highest quality and that’s ok. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable so that is the most important. We would have liked a closet for hanging clothes and a couple more drawers to put away items. The breakfast was ok - not anything special but enough to get us fed before a long day. I would recommend staying there. One caution: if you are driving across the bridge into the city or to LSU, traffic is terrible. Add about 15 minutes to normal drive time.

Very nice hotel for the price
We've stayed here several times. I choose it frequently when I'm in the area. It's nice, the staff is friendly, and it's very clean. The beds are comfortable and there is coffee all the time in the lobby. This past stay the pool was being worked on so we missed out on it, but still very much worth the stay there. We will come back!

Great staff but in need of MAJOR updates.
First let me say that the staff was super nice and tried to accommodate as best they could. The hotel is run down and needs MAJOR updates. The fact that a worker left the elevator smelling like weed was our first clue that this was not going to go well. Once we entered the room and saw the bathroom - we immediately went down to ask for another room. Surely this was a mistake that this room was available to paying customers. After moving to another room I still had to cut our stay to one night - I just did not feel clean or comfortable in the room. The front desk again was accommodating and we received 100% of our money back even though it was a non cancellable rate. Due better franchise owner!

Nice place to stay with a family in West BR
I've stayed here several times. I visit the west side of the river several times a year and this hotel is conveniently located to everything in West BR. It also offers easy access to the bridge to get into the city. Check ahead for the traffic though, there is an alternate bridge if the interstate bridge is backed up. The hotel is very clean and well kept. My kids love the pool. The staff is amazing and remembers us when we come back to stay. There's coffee in the lobby at almost any hour of the day - I've come down late at night and it was still freshly made. Lots of breakfast options. I have picky eaters and there is something that each of them will eat. We'll continue to stay here, we really enjoy their hospitality.

Unacceptable
Couldn’t get room cleaned daily and we reminded each morning. Had to keep asking for towels, kept forgetting to put them in room. One time they were out of towels. It was 10:30pm before we got them after calling front desk several times. People in parking lot drinking and blocking sidewalks and driveway entrance. Rap music blaring on hotel’s outdoor speakers. Couldn’t say anything about continental breakfast because they were out of all the food. I do not recommend this place.

I am very sorry for the many issues we had during your stay. They are inexcusable. Even with the many sports teams and family reunions we had we should have been able to keep up with the towel situation and housekeeping. I am sorry for this experience you had. Dennis Quinn, General Manager.
