When booking on Expedia in amenities it states this hotel is “ Pet Friendly” which is exactly why we booked it. Upon checking in at the front counter at 11:00 at night it in fact states “ NO PETS” and a hefty fine. My dog had to sleep in the bed of the truck . Very upsetting.

Older but clean & comfortable!
The stay was fine! Its an older hotel but i knew that from their ad, they're very upfront about it. Everything was clean, worked, i felt safe (a woman alone). They even made a special concession and gave me a downstairs room though i had a very reduced a rate. I travel to this area a couple times a year, so im glad to find it.

Nothing fancy; was comfortable, and had a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Pool wasn't operative; bathmay looked like it had a rust stain on it but it was overall okay, and I'd stay there again.

The young lady at the the desk was polite and friendly. Parking in front of the room was a plus. The bathroom was nice and updated. Comfortable beds.

Darkout curtains didn't cover window. TV remote didn't work, bulbs burned out, broken "sleep number" bed that didn't work. No decaf coffee, no creamer, no breakfast. At least trowels were clean. A step up from sleeping in your car.

I do no recommend!
Our key card stopped working after first day. And when left we came back to our blinds all the way open and all our towels gone and didn’t have any replaced towels. Microwave was on the sink. And the outside was just nasty and dirty!

This hotel was extremely dated and in very very poor condition, generally filthy. There was no smoke detector, the bed was like sleeping on a brick with a sheet thrown over it. The bathtub was filthy, all the clothes racks were rusty and covered with dust. The coffee maker did not work there was no coffee nor cups nor any condiments for it.i The refrigerator had slimy swamp water in it and there was no control for it it was either on or it was off. Do not go to the Palmetto Inn and Suites until they have done some massive rehabilitation to this facility. The staff however was great. I would like to add that when we arrived it was late in the evening. We had registered a week in advance I had called prior to confirm we were coming. There were no towels, the room it wasn't even readied for guests, kind of sad. There is no serviceable swimming pool as pictured, the one on the property is full of garbage and green water.

Totally disappointing. We had to stay here 1 night due to a Funeral. Upon arrival are door key did not work so we had to move to another room. The only positive I can say is that I did not see any roaches, bed bugs, ants, mice or others and that the bathroom was fairly descent. The mattress/pillows were awful, there were cigarette holes in the top sheet, the lighting was so dim I could not see inside my luggage, they say they have HBO but that channel is scrambled, there are only 3 other channels you can barely see due to fuzziness.The Wifi worked but kept dropping off. The air/heating unit is so dusty I know quality of air in the room was bad, I could see dust on the TV, walls & mirror. The carpet was not good. The outside of the refrigerator was rusted. The chair/sofa was torn. The breakfast was basically non existent. The coffee was so dark I think it was left over from the day before. They did not have enough apples, or muffins for their guests, they had some cold cereal that came out of an old hazy dispenser. I will not even talk about the toast. We did complain about the TV but management refused to credit our account, they said it was the cable company's fault. Management should not be able to get away with what they are charging for this motel and anyone staying here should expect more than this. Expedia should not have them listed. I plan to write the Mayor of Cheraw and inform him of the conditions at this Motel.

It's a ok stay
The staff was friendly the hotel was clean for the most part so it was a ok stay the only complaints is it could use some updating and cosmetic maintenance also the bed was very hard it was a sleep number bed however the remote did not work to control it so it must have been set to very firm and because of those issues I think the price is very high at almost $90 on a weekday they should update the appearance and make sure everything is in proper working conditions.

Great overnight in Cheraw

Furniture was stained, holes in upholstery. Coffe urn dirty and strained, tissue holder had no tissures and cover was hsnging off. Madebus begin to wondervabout the sanitary xonditions of linens. But as we had just got off a 3 1/2 hour drive and it was almost 2am, we were stuck for.the night Yes very disappointed and especially for what we paid for the night...and it was onlyy a rest stop on our way to Savanna We felt cheated... Sleep number bed (Radisson logo) did not work either. The limited soap, shampoo were motel auper 8, other items branded differently. Wevised expedia thinking you had some standards for the ' member' or member properties..and we believe the rooms for walk ins was under $60.00..so rhat added to our disappintment. A refund wpuld be a minimum benifit or substantial credit on our credit card. I think qe should stop payment ourselvess should we not hear from someone as we continue on our long awaited vacation travels.
