Excellent Stay!
The Apple Retreat is a spacious and very well appointed stay in Door County. The unit itself is very large, with a full dining room, enormous kitchen with a center island, very large bedroom and living room. All of the furniture is comfortable and there are plenty of linens available. There is a full bath in the bedroom and a half bath off of the kitchen. The kitchen has all of the amenities you could hope for in a temporary stay. The outdoor landscaping is absolutely beautiful and Colin is continually adding on more. The location is excellent for anywhere you might want to visit in Door County, very easily accessible to shops and restaurants as well as local sights. Despite being somewhat close to a major road, the inside is quiet and peaceful. We recommend it highly and hope to stay there again in the future!

Our first time and not our last. Beautiful property with plenty of comforts of home. My one and only complaint is the sunken-in king mattress with coils poking us. Easy fix and should be high on the list of things to do.

Great central location
This was our first visit to Door County and Apple was the perfect place for all of our plans. Just enough out of the way yet still close to all the action in Ephraim, Sister Bay, and Fish Creek. Thank you for sharing your place with us, Colin.

Oasis of tranquility and coziness!
This is our second time staying in the Apple Retreat, and we will absolutely be coming back! The space is wonderful for a small family, with more than enough space in the bedroom for a pack and play. Little details like labels on the light switches and drawers make the whole place so user-friendly, and the home itself is so quiet, clean, and peaceful. Explore the gardens if you can too, they are just wonderful!

Lovely home in a great location!
The Apple Retreat was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend in Door County! It was centrally located, very clean, had comfortable couches and a bed and felt like a little home away from home! I would absolutely recommend a stay in any one of Colin's properties!

Just perfect!
Clean, well stocked and charming place! We enjoyed everything from coffee on the front porch admiring the gardens, to walking to an awesome newer coffee shop steps from the front door to snuggling on the couch at night watching a movie. The location could not have been better and easy to find. Owner is very informative and has thought of everything. Would love to come back!

Enjoy the beauty of Green Gables in Ephraim
We loved the beauty of the architecture and the many gorgeous gardens at Green Gables. Every amenity one could think of was provided at this completely restored vacation home, as well as many extras not necessary but so appreciated. We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay and look forward to a return visit.

The Apple Retreat is beautiful!!!
We stayed at the Apple Retreat, and it is such a beautiful place. Well stocked kitchen, and lots of towels for the bathrooms, super comfy couches in the living room, lovely kitchen/dining area, and it was very clean. The bedroom was super spacious and comfortable! We would highly recommend and would gladly stay there again!

Relaxing Door County Weekend
We were very pleased with the location of this rental, being that it was easy to find yet traffic was very quiet. The house was gorgeous, spacious, and welcoming! The view out of the master bedroom was beautiful! We enjoyed our stay very much, and found the central location of the rental on the peninsula made it easy to get around to wherever we wanted to go.

A dream space for a small family!
We were excited when we booked it, but the Apple Retreat was even better in person! The space itself was so spacious and livable for our family of three, and we easily could have spent our whole weekend staying cozy in the house! We so appreciated the attention to details that made our stay even more compostable (a new travel-sized baby shampoo, labels on the light switches, two super plush and cozy comforters on the bed, giant fuzzy blanket in the living room). Colin was so prompt, informative, and welcoming in his correspondence, and we are so looking forward to coming back soon!

My mom sister and I stayed in late August. The location was perfect and the space was wonderful. Thoughtfully designed and decorated. Really enjoyed seeing all of the monarchs come to the flowers right outside the windows when sitting in the front room.

Can we actually tell you what this place was like? Is there like a 7 star rating available? I literally must BRAG that there was not one stitch of dirt or dust anywhere and I felt like I was in a 1500.00 night suite . I can say no more. It was perfect for a couple but I had a teenager and we used the hideaway bed. The quality of the unit surpassed what I could ever imagine. Like you are in a little perfect genie bottle away from the world....easy to get everywhere you need in DC....just magic! Thank you Colin!!!!

Charming, modern gem!!!
We loved our stay at Apple. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch every opportunity we could, whether it was having breakfast or playing a game of Yahtzee. The landscaping around the property is beautiful and we enjoyed that from the porch as well :). The place is very open, spacious, and a great location just a short drive to either Ephriham or Sister Bay. We loved having this as a home base as we explored Door County for the first time. What a charming, modern gem of a location- we had a great stay- thank you!

Loved it!
The property is in a fantastic location. It is very clean, classy, quiet, and ideal for a couple looking for a get-away. Colin is an amazing host as had personally prepared the home for our stay and even prepared a beautiful arrangement of fresh-cut flowers I had requested. I highly recommend this property to anyone who is considering a trip to Door County! It is within 10 minutes of all must-visit spots, but it feels like it very secluded.
