Great Property!
This home was just as listed. Plenty of space and things to do. Unfortunately the river flooded days before we arrived but it did not stop us from enjoying the property. We couldn’t kayak but that was not a deal breaker. The host was very transparent and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again so that I can experience the river more!

Beautiful place fully equipped!
This is a gorgeous property, even bigger than what you see in the photos! It’s fully equipped with everything you need including endless kitchen supplies which made our stay super convenient. We loved the waterfront view and unique home decor. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Great place to Enjoy a Family Reunion
The house is located in close proximity to ALL the Springs. Made it easy for all ages for tubing, kayaking, Paddleboarding or just relaxing at one of the many Springs.

Great weekend trip
Very comfortable stay for a family (8 adults, 1 child) weekend trip. I was pleasantly suprised with how clean the property was and the accommodations provided. Plenty to do (air hockey was a hit, hot tub, kayaks, tubes) AND great cooking equipment. There was even a bbq smoker present. The river was spectacular and there were so many places to sit and enjoy the view. I would absolutely rent here again. Thanks Teresa for a wonderful, much needed, family vacation.

It was great for five, but with two toilets and one working shower, it really can’t accommodate 14. Jacuzzi over the river was great. Some updated linens would be an easy upgrade. There was no dishwasher detergent or laundry soap. Location was ideal.

Family Trip 2023
We enjoyed our stay at Big Cypress Lodge so much. The space was Big enough for us to all enjoy ourselves. Right on the water allowed us to bring our boat and close to the springs made our trip perfect.

Great time on the river rain or shine
Spacious house with very large decks and porches for families to spread out. There is a wide variety of sleeping areas and lots of entertainment options even on a rainy day. There is plenty of yard space and parking. The hot tub beside the river is fun, as is the floating dock and deck on the river. Kids caught small fish in the river and had a blast. Owner and staff very helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful family and friends time together at the lodge. Everything was great. It’s perfect for a big crowd of people. The only downside is that it’s only 2 bathrooms and the upstairs bathroom the shower do not have enough pressure . But overall, we have a blast. Highly recommended!!!

Wedding day
We had hosted our bridal party for our wedding to stay with us the day prior to our wedding, and we loved everything about this house. It was super cute and fit. Everybody super comfortable, and the floating dock was probably one of our favorites, and just the overall quietness of the surrounding area!

We had a wonderful girls trip! Kitchen space and utensils worked well for our group. Lot’s of space to sit and visit during our stay. Enjoyed the deck top and bottom seating areas especially during thunderstorms. Lot’s of wildlife; birds, squirrels, snapping Turtles, and deer.

Loved it!
We had such a wonderful experience at this property and with everything all around. The pictures don’t do a justice to the awesomeness of the house, the yard, the patio and the porch. We had a one year old to an 80 year old and EVERYONE enjoyed the stay. The kitchen, the table area and the living room are all one large open space. It was great for the amount of people we had there. We utilized all the areas of the house and property. Everything we needed was there and any questions that came up I was very easily able to communicate to Teresa and she responded promptly. Everyone in our group would be happy to stay here again and as we have family moving to the area we very well may stay there again. As a side note there is a Dollar General not to far away that has more groceries than I have ever seen in a Dollar General which proved to be useful- even some produce items. Otherwise, our ‘big’ grocery trip was about a 20 minute drive away. Just plan accordingly for that! Again- we loved our stay and I was soo soo soo happy with our booking!!

Great river place
This house is very large and accommodating. Everyone had their own bedroom with lots of places to hang out. People on the river were very friendly and always waved or spoke as they went by. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect family get away
We loved our stay! It was the perfect family get away for our family and teens. We enjoyed the dock, campfire and hot tub on the cooler days and of course paddling in the river in the sun! The proximity to paddle the Itchnetuckne was terrific (only 10 min drive) We also brought a small boat and had a great time exploring the Santa Fe. We are already planning a return trip!

Perfect location, comfortable stay
It was easy to communicate with Teresa prior and during our stay. She answered all of my questions. We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, even to prepare a Christmas feast. The sleeping arrangements for four adult couples was a little odd with one room not having a door, insulation or heat, one bed in the living room (no privacy) and one room being unaccessible from inside the house. However, I can see this being a perfect location for a large family with kids or a girls trip. Overall, we enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, air hockey and large dining table for meals and games. My daughter's dog enjoyed the large fenced yard immensely! Being on the river is a plus too, however it was so cold we didn't really get to enjoy it this trip.

Amazing!
This property is beautiful and super comfortable, we had an amazing family time, kayaking, telling stories by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub. Such a nice place to stay with family and friends. Theresa is super responsive!. We recommend this cabin and we'll definitively come back!

Great family home- downside there were alot of Palmetto Bugs in downstairs and one even jumped on my hand that fell down out of microwave. My grandson ended up with one in his duffle bag when he arrived home

Spacious river cabin getaway
House is well set up to comfortably accommodate 12 (some beds being double/ queen) with 1 bed sharing space in the main L/R-- but understandable to max out sleeping arrangements. Lots of thought went into offering entertainment: air hockey, large checker set, several TVs. Individual kayaks (3) available, but would ask that they be maintenanced-- new seats-- but still usable. Also several river tubes that are inflated for immediate use. Outdoor, covered hot tub on the deck. Firepit in the yard with lots of wood available. Thank you! Lower level offers 2 king beds-- again, thoughtful design. The lower bath has an awesome " rain" shower. This bath is not the best for a female wanting to do makeup, but then this is a river cabin!! It is a cute set up. Lots of dock space with views of the river. Very clean house overall with plush towels and soft bed sheets! Another thank you to the host! Definitely recommend and hope to visit here, again.

Great for groups!
This property was perfect for a large group. It had everything needed to cook all our meals on site - including a grill. The kitchen was fully stocked. Towels available. Clean & private beds. It was even bigger than I thought it was from the photos. The outsides spaces were beautiful - so many places to hang out and relax. I was really impressed with the place. We used the hot tub and there was plenty of firewood on site. Everything we could have asked for! Thank you!

Gem in the Woods!
We loved our stay at the lodge! I hosted a girls trip here and we spent our days kayaking on the river, hanging out in tubes, and using all the space this place had to offer. We had 8 adults and one dog and the amount of space was just right. Getting to Ichetucknee was a breeze and it wasn't too far from the nearest Winn Dixie and Publix and some food runs. We'd love to return!

Great Place on the River
We really enjoyed our stay. It had plenty of room for our big family to spread out. The outdoor porches and areas were where we spent most of our time when we not taking advantage of the river. We enjoyed swimming at the sandy beach area at the river and jumping off the lower level of the dock. The key to the TREPO parks on the Ichetucknee was a great perk as we come down to the area to enjoys the rivers. Teresa is a great host and we will be putting her lodge on our places for return stays.

Relaxing family getaway 💛
Teresa’s house is absolutely one of the best Vrbo houses we have stayed in and she was so very pleasant to work with, very sweet & accommodating! The house was so clean and charming~ everything was absolutely perfect!! Very private & relaxing! Sitting outside on the top deck over looking the river was our favorite spot. We will definitely be going back!!

Perfect Getaway
This is the place to be on the river. Plenty of things to do for the kids and the adults. Rope swing, ping pong, air hockey and the nice river breeze. We hung out in the river and watched people boat/kayak by. The finishes inside and outside the cabin tie everything together. We have a great time and we will be back for the summer. Make sure you stop at the grocery store before you get to the cabin as there isn’t much around which is also another plus !! You won’t be disappointed renting this cabin.

Our party of 10 enjoyed the layout of the home with the 5 teenagers staying downstairs. The neighborhood was quaint and quiet. The dock was beautiful and the fire pit was used every evening. The location made it very easy to explore the area.
