Hi Giovanna, Thanks for your comments. My accomodation is stated as a B&B on Expedia. There are are photos of my house on the website and in my 'introduction letter' to you ( received on booking) , it clearly states that my home is being run as a B&B and that it is not a hotel. It is run on the same basis as an Airbnb. I'd like to think I have been honest and open about the fact that you are coming to stay in a B&B and not a company or privately run hotel. Expedia rate my B&B the equivilent of a 3* hotel and the 'facilities' are rated as good as any hotel in the area! I'm glad that you had a pleasant experience overall and I hope this explanation helps to clarify the status of your stay here. Kind Regards,

Hi Lorella, thank you for your review and your thoughts. Firstly , the mattress isn't in fact very old- about 3 years and because of covid, unused for half that time. I have had about 150 guests stay here , so its wear is likely to be less than one year! it has always had a mattress protector and topper for extra comfort and cleanliness. I have never had a complaint about its comfort. I'm pleased that you found some things during your stay to your liking. The points you raise about it being a house and not having an en-suite bathroom are reasonable. I am sorry that you felt uncomfortable, alone, with a man in the house. This point is a very important one indeed. I have already amended my welcome letter to include details of all the aforementioned points you raise. So thank you for sharing your feeling regarding that. As for the price of your room, I can only say that the price is around the 'aveage' charged for the area and not as expensive as some with similar or less facilities than the Willow. But - that's only my opinion! I hope this addresses the points that you raise. The Willow is also on Airbnb where you'll find a much fuller descrition of the Willow and me.
