Great Thanksgiving Getaway
This house was perfect for my husband and I and the pups for thanksgiving. Very clean, updated and the hot tub was great. Would definitely rent again!

Lovely home, nicely decorated
Overall very nice place, liked the hot tub on deck and that we could have our pups with us! Had a few small issues, contacted owner that is local, and they were very quick to get back to us and try to help fix issues. The beach is close, but you really have to drive it as a pretty busy road to cross and no walking place available to get to the beach you have to drive up a few more block to find a parking area and beach access. Also, a very busy highway right behind the house, which was noisy much of the time, but we were only there in the evening and to sleep. Liked the screened in porch in morning to have coffee etc. Had a great trip and bed was very comfortable too!

Great house!
House was so clean, particularly so for being pet-friendly. Was great to be able to bring our pups and the kids loved the bunk room. Only flag is the walk to the beach access is more like .4/.5 mile to the first street access. Still doable though and always great to be on the ocean side of the highway. And can’t beat the convenience to Publix etc. Owners were communicative before and during and we had no issues!

great weekend get away, very nice, clean and comfortable. had everything that you would need for a few days at the beach. the hot tub was an added bonus. neighborhood was quiet and the house is located close to main road with a grocery store right across the street. check in was a breeze , had a great time. absolutely would stay here again.

Comfy place
We were here for a wedding. It was a busy weekend for me. Getting to the beach was a plus and much enjoyed! We did have 2 small children with us, so it was a long walk for them and just a little scary crossing beach street. House was very nice and clean!!! My one suggestion is a full length mirror on 1 of the doors....us females like to checkout what we look like....lol...owner was very nice and attentive.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

Comfy enough but unit needs some attention
The bed itself was quite comfortable - good mattress. The unit is conveniently located, the great room is nicely decorated, and the hot tub was clean and worked great. A few areas were not great or need improvement. In the primary bedroom, the bed's location, with the head under a window close to the busy highway, was so noisy that I needed earplugs. While the description said the unit had new appliances, the dishwasher must not be one because the top rack comes off and falls down, and the door makes an awful noise when opened all the way. The spring is shot. It would also have been nice to receive a full roll of paper towels (not 95% gone), and a plastic trash bag instead of a paper grocery sack. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, walking the dog through the neighborhood, walking to the Wright Brothers' Memorial, and seeing a pretty glow of sunrise in the morning.

Nice clean home away from home
Walked into a clean home after a 11 hour drive from Ohio. The beds are comfortable and the sheets smelled clean and fresh. Only one stop light from the grocery store. It was too far to walk to the beach safely so we drove every day to the public access. The beach was so nice and not crowded in September.

Great Beach House!
This was a beautiful beach house. It has everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrella, etc. The owner was incredibly responsive and the house was very clean. This house is just a short walk from the beach and is near a dog park and some grocery stores. We stayed here for a long weekend and will definitely be booking here again next summer!

Family Vacation 22
The house was nice even on the rainy days when we stayed in. We were only able to grill out one day because of all the rain and the location of the grill but we made the best of it. Good communication with the owner. We cleaned before leaving and followed the instructions for checking out but having heard anything about our cleaning deposit being returned as started on the house clipboard. But it’s only been two weeks. I would recommend this to house for small groups.

It is a long walk to the beach for being ocean side. The umbrella and beach cart were of great help

A Stay That Will Surely Bring You Back
What can my family and I say about this property that has not already been said? The house exceeded our expectations. The first thing my daughter mentioned was how clean the house was and smelled! We overpacked for this trip, as Eric supplied truly everything you could want or need, it was just like being at home. My daughter felt safe leaving her two babies, (dogs), while we went out and had our own adventures. However, the yard and the neighborhood are very dog friendly as well, a plus! The hot tub was also clean, and in working condition, a great perk! While we did not intend to spend much time hanging out at the beach in the cool weather, the shed had all of the necessary beach supplies, several not listed! My son-in-law enjoyed cooking on the grill while my daughter completed her homework, (thank you Wi-Fi), from the shaded picnic table on the deck. Eric then went above and beyond after our visit ended by mailing my daughter and her husband their swimsuits that were left in the dryer and did not accept payment for packaging or shipment-a fantastic host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we cannot wait to visit the Blue Heron once more.

A very clean and updated house with everything we needed. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds and books and games. The only downside was the traffic noise from the highway behind the house. We resolved this issue with earplugs purchased at the drugstore. Great communication with management, always responded quickly to emails.

Had a great stay for 5 nights. Close to everything and just a short walk to the beach. Close to the Wright Brothers National site. We could hear the traffic at night but were so tired from all of our excursions we didn’t mind it. House and hot tub were great and communication with Eric was excellent.

Home was as described. Searching for a long weekend home we found this home to be perfect. The hosts responded immediately to any questions. Beds comfortable, plenty of linens. Short walk to the beach and Publix right across the street! Would definitely consider a re-rent in future!

Two types of coffee pots, two bathrooms (one for me and one for him), big clean hot tub, plenty of towels, refrigerator to hold the beer, well working TVs with everything and anything you could watch, good location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable warm house for this time of year. Overall the home was comfortable and ok. If you are planning to cook a lot this is not the place for you. The dishwasher wasn’t working correctly and I never received a reply from the maintenance person. It also needs a good deep cleaning.

Our property manager was spectacular and super flexible to meet our needs. The home was everything it said it was. The ease of navigating from this home was excellent for everything we wanted to do. Off season was awesome in that it was quiet in the neighborhood. The back side of the house was too close to the main road for someone with hearing issues as it was a constant wind tunnel with the traffic on the deck by the hot tub. Most importantly, I could hear the ocean when it was quieter at night. Wonderful stay and would absolutely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay at this property. Eric was a responsive and communicative host that helped us with a couple of minor issues at check in. As others have noted, the house backs up to a main highway and the car noise is considerable. But, you can definitely hear the ocean from the other side! We enjoyed most evenings out on the porch listening and watching the sunset. As others have mentioned the house is well loved and could benefit from a coat of interior paint and a few basic repairs. The hot tub, however, seems brand new and was very clean. If you do book the property note that it does not seem to come with basic supplies such as dishwasher soap, dish sponges, adequate TP, etc. I would have liked to know that in advance so as to save multiple trips to the store. Overall an ok stay, a few basic improvements could definitely make this an exceptional 5 star stay.

Speaking for myself it was just what we were looking and hoping for, the house clean, organized and well appointed. The Hot Tub was a huge plus, the location other than being directly on the beach was as good as you will find anywhere. We really had no reason to contact the owner except for one question we had and he was very responsive. The neighborhood itself was quiet and clean and pleasant. My only comment would be a few better frying pans. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
