There was something of interest with an antique shop in the yard too ..not for someone looking for a modern hotel though walking distance to a nice village pub with good food ..highly recommend this place "

"It's a little gem!! Lovely location in Lincolnshire, near enough for the main birdlife sites. Run by Emma and Mark, a super friendly couple. The garden room enables a great space to sit in and relax, away from the bedroom. Breakfast was super-tasty and just the right amount of food. Great little home from home. Would stay here again without hesitation."

"The Hosts Jude & Karl make you very welcome . I was travelling alone and booked a single room which was compact but just right for me on this trip . Tea & Coffee facilities are provided as well as shower gel , soap and shampoo . You can also park at the property . Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. The property also has a beautiful little garden at the back which I enjoyed sitting in . Within walking distance to the Town through a lovely park where you will find a number of pubs,bars...

"We stayed in the Churnery room for 2 nights on a B&b basis. Good size room with has been refurbished to modern standards. Everything supplied that is needed for a short stay - smart TV, fridge, tea/coffee making, hairdryer, bottled water, etc. Continental breakfast is excellent, wide choice including facilities to freshly cook your own boiled and scambled eggs. Both Nigel and Carol were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Short stroll to south beach is a must at sunset to see the sun disappear into...

"Found the booking procedure a little confusing with hotel.com but once we arrived at our accommodation we were met by Nigel and it was just easy friendly and professional. We stayed in the dairy which was rustically charming and our every need was catered for. We were booked in for breakfast which offered a wide choice from eggs to yogurt to cereals and served by lovely friendly Carol. Nothing was too much trouble and we thank you for a relaxing few days. "I stayed in a single en-suite, which was a surprisingly good size, including the shower. The decor was a bit dated, but overall quite clean, all the essentials and complimentary coffee and water which was great. My only thing to riase and of course I knew this when booking was the noise from the pub below. "Room was very dated, the mattress was a cheap thin mattress and springs were noisy everytime you moved. The bathroom was again in need of repair. The whole toilet pan moved everytime you sat on it. "

"Stayed 2 nights due to going to a family party and wanting somewhere close by. Clean and comfortable, ideal for what i needed. Bed was really comfortable. If i had to pick a fault, i would say to get some brighter colours, it was very dark inside. Would definitely stay again."

"The hosts were great with contact from start to finish. We arrived to find a cake and some milk, which was a thoughtful touch, and they checked in with us to make sure we had found the place too. The location is perfect; really close to the beach but also there's a river at the back of the lodge where you can sit on a swing and watch the birds for hours. My daughter loved it and loved feeding the birds too. The place was spotless. Beds were so comfy too. We will hopefully be back!"

"Absolutely beautiful cottage. Perfect placement for a Norfolk beach break away. Very clean, tidy and beautifully decorated property ! Loved the bathroom ! Bed was very comfortable ! Excellent communication with the owner and the property has a lovely pub very close by which is great. Lovely landlord and lady. "Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop. It was dog friendly and our cocker spaniel absolutely loved the stay, lots of beautiful walks around the site, people to meet and it’s less than 20 mins to Skegness for the beach.
