The view from this property is unbelievable and the hosts were very responsive! We enjoyed our stay and found the room quite nice. The bed was very comfortable. Our only observation is that it is quite small and felt a bit cramped at times for a longer stay like ours (a week)... just something to be aware of when you book.

Perfect hideaway
This was the perfect inbetween place for us to stop for our drive to Anchorage. Its close to everything. We got to snowmobile, dogsled, see a glacier, and a frozen waterfall. You have a diamond in the mountains, Mahlers!

The best view
I can’t imagine coming back to Alaska and not having the view in the mornings and evenings that this place had. Very quiet, calm and relaxing. We really enjoyed this place and I’ve already shared it with a friend. Hoping to come back for vacation in the future.

PERFECT little bungalow
My husband & I really enjoyed the bungalow, & it was perfect for the 2 of us! The view was amazing, & you can easily get to so many other beautiful areas. It's secluded & surrounded by nature, yet only a few minutes from town. We never saw the guests in the neighboring bungalow or the owners in the house nearby, which was perfect for us. We even joked that we were just going to move in instead of going home! We were welcomed with a sweet note & cookies after a long flight, which was just the cherry on top. I'd definitely recommend the bungalows to any couple visiting Alaska!

Perfect
My wife works for a rental property management company and she remarked several times about how this property is perfect. The cleanliness, attention to detail, furnishings, and location, etc. And I agree. It was perfect for our stay. We began and ended each stay sitting on the lawn, looking at the scenery. We had a fire one evening in very nice firepit. It was a perfect location for going to the Matanuska Glacier one day, flightseeing and Talkeetna another day, and Hatcher Pass another day. And plenty of hiking trails all around. Truly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in. People looking at the property might think it's a bit small but it is cozy in every sense of the word. The value seriously cannot be beat. Not only would I not hesitate to stay here again, I would even consisder timing my trip according to availability of this place. Do not hesitate to stay here.
