Everrything was so clean, it was quiet. We walked easily to downtown historic Ballard. It was so easy to get Uber when we wanted to go further out from Ballard. Wonderful place! Highly recommend!!

Small but perfect for what we needed. We were there for a concert at the Ballard Homestead, which is within walking distance. Clean, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet for such a busy area. The only problem we encountered was with the suite door combination lock that didn't function properly, we had to enter the combo several times each time we tried to re-enter the suite. The same lock on the building outer door worked perfectly.

Everything was just terrific! The room was clean and full of extras for the mini kitchen, bathroom toiletries and even laundry soap for my laundry. Great place to relax and unwind. Will be spending time again there very soon.

All in all, the room was good for the price paid. It was a great location for me as I was walking but if you have a car, parking is on the crowded street. Communication was good, my keypad did not work and I needed to obtain a key. The room was almost too clean, disinfectant smell very strong. Instructions for the Nespresso coffee maker would have helped, I wasted 2 pods and DID NOT get any coffee or just get a Keurig. Lastly, I would like a plug by the bed for my phone and a box of tissue. Thanks.

Good location, everything was very clean. The sound proofing is very minimal. We could hear the neighbor snoring at night. We did have an issue with getting locked out in the middle of the night. They were very responsive to the problem and the maintenance guy was a literally life saver getting us back into our unit.We are very appreciative about that.

This was a great spot to stay for a night near my daughter in Ballard while we waited for my son in law to test negative for COVID. It was clean, modern, had all the amenities we needed including a nespresso machine. While we only stayed one night it would have been comfortable for several days. Check in was easy and Vince was very good at communicating and sharing key information. This was less than half the price of local hotels. I would definitely stay again if we needed a place. Parking is in the street but not hard to find.

Planned a last minute one night stay in Seattle and this was the perfect spot! Came with all the necessities and exceeded my expectations. Property manager was excellent in communicating when I had questions. Be aware this is an apartment unit and there will be other guests there if you don’t mind. Overall enjoyed the stay!

I was prepared to give a better review until I was charged $20 for a stain on a white towel that was so small I didn’t even notice it was there until they sent a picture. I am not an unreasonable person if I made an error I am happy to take care of it, but $20 for one towel means I won’t be booking again. If you stay here I would advise bringing your own towels especially if you have a uterus. Pros comfortable bed and clean. The

Checkin was super easy. It was so nice having a simple room with a little kitchen to use. There were a lot of our basic needs that were meant from just having tea, and a hot pot and a mini fridge. Sometimes you'd hear a bit of noise from other people staying there, but they clearly have done a lot to insulate the rooms and it wasn't bad at all. Super clean and convenient. Very easy to get into Ballard.

We enjoyed our stay at Ballard’s Sweet Suites. The unit was cozy, clean and equipped with everything we needed. I enjoyed having the electric kettle for my tea. (I have the same one at home). Vince was very responsive. We had an issue accessing the unit the first evening and he was quick to assist (we found the trick is to ensure you touch the key pad on the first number of your personal code then enter the remaining numbers). The location was perfect for our needs. If we travel to Ballard again, we will definitely consider staying here!

I liked all the supplied appliances, dishes and utensils along with trash bags, laundry detergent, etc... It was easy to make instant coffee with the hot water maker. I also appreciated the toiletries on hand. I could step out my door to do a load of laundry and that was nice. The building and the room were clean and fine for me. I stayed for three days and four nights with no issues. My room was on the third floor so be advised that there are steps. I did not have a car as I could walk to where I needed to go, but I think you would probably have to park a car somewhere on the street away from the the building due to the area's dense population. Overall, I needed an affordable place in Ballard and this was a great choice. The property manager is also very helpful and the response is quick if you have questions. Upon arrival, at night, in the rain I was having some trouble entering the code to get in, and the property manager responded right away.

I am giving this place 4 stars because I couldn’t sleep, you can hear neighbors next room as if they are in the room. Even if they are just whispering. Loved the amenities and super cute room !
Ballard suites was such a pleasant stay ! It’s a small room with a larger communal area if you have guests / need to use their computer etx . The room had everything I needed as a single traveler . However two people would as well. I loved the amenities like shampoo, lotion , Q tips in case you forgot yours like I did! The location was nice and I felt really safe as a woman traveling solo ! I highly recommend and would stay again!

Super cozy little spot. Very comfortable. Upstairs neighbors were a little loud in the morning. Check in process was a little involved and since I booked same day I had to track it all down and was not given clear info. We sat outside the property for close to an hour before being able to enter.

Loved my stay here. Very quiet, safe and parking was much easier than some reviews would make you think. It's city street parking, free and easy to find a spot. Very clean place!! Vince communicates very well. No complaints - would definitely stay again.

Cheap flair, needs new doors and more towels
Positives: the bed and bathroom were clean (and smelled like bleach), though there was used tissue paper in the toilet. The kitchenette and washing machines are convenient, though there was no laundry detergent. The decor and furnishings are cute though cheap. The neighborhood is nice, with several restaurants, bars and grocery stores within walking distance. Negatives: the doors don't close on their own, so you have to hold the door shut and either lock it manually or hold it until it locks automatically. Also the doors don't seal well so you can hear people talking, dragging their luggage up and down the stairs, etc. The TV was faulty. Sometimes the sound was horribly distorted, once it was at max volume and couldn't be turned down, and once it shut itself off. There was a smart speaker in the room but we couldn't get it to work. The "business center" had no computers, just two monitors connected to nothing. The AC in the common area was uncomfortably cold until somebody fiddled with it, and then it was uncomfortably warm. The rooms themselves have no heating or cooling, just an exhaust fan. The buidling is next to a high school, so if your windows are open, you can hear sports until fairly late. The shower curtain liner was hazy with mineral deposits (easily removed with vinegar or the washing machine.) Lastly, there was no way to get extra towels. We had to share the one towel for three days.

I loved how easy it was to stay here. The communication about access was clear and timely, and the rooms were delightful. Plus, the whole neighborhood was delightful for walking and running which was a big bonus!

I filled out the pre-checking in detail and completeness. No reply. I got to the property. No live person. No note. No way to enter. Called. They demanded a large deposit which was neither disclosed or described in the listing. They could not even tell me what the deposit was for. Coerced, I put down the deposit. They could not tell me how to work the keypad. You have to press the lower left corner to activate the pad, and then enter the code, then press the bottom right corner to unlock. Also, you have to press the lower right corner to lock, and nobody knows this so the place is often unlocked. The design was fine, but they failed to disclose that the rental was on the third floor and I have a bum knee. Very painful. I could hear every word spoken by my two neighbors, even talking on the phone. Otherwise, the place was OK. BTW, the building was for sale which made the whole thing seem less than legit. Pass this one up for sure.
