Nice place with ever-present owners bending over backwards to help in any way possible. The rooms are comfortable with basic amenities and coffee, tea and similar available. I particularly liked the well equipped shared kitchen and the lounge. Above all, the view from the inn is stunning. Note that it is in a peaceful and quiet area with very little in the way of local amenities, although Lerwick is only a short drive away.
On the downside, the new owners are still finding their feet, and the Inn is still a work in progress. That said, most of the deficiencies are minor or cosmetic, so that didn't bother me at all.

"Our stay was pleasant. Staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Its an old building but well kept. Nothing fancy but enough for what we needed. We were out all day & went back to hotel to sleep. Walls are thin like other people mentioned, so u could hear yr next door neighbors ..."

"The hotel was clean, warm but dated. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The fact that there was no restaurant meant no meal or breakfast but the staff advised me of lovely alternatives. I believe the hotel has just changed hands so probably just getting things organised and i hope it works for ..."
