First trip since coronavirus and this hotel was nice to stay at. Views were beautiful in our patio and the restaurant allowed take away food that was very tasty. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.

A gem on the Moselle
Lovely relaxing hotel with all mod-coms,comfortable room and large breakfast variety,served on the terrace with a nice outlook surrounded by vineyards.The room had a balcony overlooking the Moselle.Great bathroom suite with a rainhead shower, also in room safe for money and valuables was an added bonus.

Excellent Value for money hotel for Luxembourg
Lovely hotel, great position over-looking the river and close to Luxembourg city. Breakfast was very nice with a lovely panoramic view.

Nice hotel
Nice spot for overnight. Very formal and expensive feel which was fine but not as comfortable feel for us as other stops on our journey. No place to rate if hotel made you feel welcome.

Loved our stay here. Excellent hotel, very modern industrial design. Be aware suited to couples, with glass walls and doors to the bathroom, they are frosted but still... Bedding comfortable with views of neighbouring vineyards from the bed, amazing to wake up to. Large balcony from your room to enjoy the views also. Free parking undercover but limitied spaces available. Although free street parking is directly out the front.

Nice hotel away from the city.
This hotel is a little bit out of the way from the Airport, and the taxi fare was considerably more than I expected (71 Euro). There is bus service but it requires at least one transfer and some walking, and as I had a late arrival and it was raining I chose the taxi. Hotel is very modern and clean. I enjoyed the heated floors and the private balcony that overlooks the river. Concrete walls ensure a soundproof room. A unique feature is a button by the bed that allows you to open or close the window above the patio door. Food in restaurant was very good and the staff extremely helpful and polite.

Minimalist, friendly and good value
The hotel is sleek and minimalist. It was very reasonable, with wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. Our room looked out on the Moselle River with a large patio that we shared with the room next door. They pride themselves on being environmentally friendly and certainly seem to be. The room had few amenities--no coffee or tea, no skin moisturizer, no cool air on 2 warm nights, and for Americans who like privacy, little privacy in the toilet or shower area with glass walls. Towels were small and very thin. That being said, the room was very clean and well kept up. We had dinner there one night. The restaurant was full with what seemed to be many locals and the food was very good. The continental breakfast was delicious with many choices.

Fantastic modern hotel. Our room was the perfect size for our 14 month old to run around and enjoy herself. It is located next to a busy road, but from the third floor you can block that out and just look over the river and the vineyards.

It is a nice if rather eccentric modern style hotel with a good restaurant. The location is good for a break, but less good for business unless you have your own car. Nice location by the river, but not as close to Luxembourg city as it may appear, so it is not handy for business meetings in the city

Don't go here, you won't ever want to leave. No matter how nice your home is, it'll be disappointing when you check out. Heated floors, good breakfast, vineyard views, modern design.

Very good hotel on the Mosel
Great, moderm place to stay along the Mosel in Luxembourg. All rooms seem to have a veranda. Ours had a view of the Lock with Germany just beyond. Our only complaints were: the beds were exceedingly firm, to use an iron you had to go down to the tiny laundry room, and there were no fans available for the rooms. Everything else was positive. Location is great(fairly close to tasting rooms and a restaurant). Shower was incredible. Everything was incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this hotel, the fittings, decor, architecture, it was all my style. Views over river from room and views of vineyards from breakfast room, stunning. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended and got a great rate

great hotel in nice location
we stopped of at the hotel ecluse en route from lucerne to the uk and it made a great place to rest and recuperate. the children loved the natural swimming pool and the saunas and we had a fantastic meal in the evening. staff were great and very friendly - highly recommended...

Very helpful & pleasant staff. Very comfortable room exceeding expectations for a 2star hotel, would be absolutely perfect if there was a refrigerator & hot water jug supplied. Delightful outlook over the gape vines, wonderful to be able to cool off in the water pond on a hot steamy day. Restaurant meal good & breakfast excellent. Adequate parking available.

Modern Luxury Near Luxembourg City
Hotel L'Ecluse is new and modern and will make you want to come back. Located easily within 30 minutes of Luxembourg City, its location is quiet and attractive - on the Moselle with vineyards giving it a very nice setting. The brand new hotel has large rooms, very high ceilings, two large lifts, lovely vanity, shower and toilet setup and balconies with lovely views.

Very good hotel. Great service. Good food (didn't try the evening meals, but I heard great things, and if other meals are as good as breakfast then they would be amazing). Staff were very helpful (though nothing really needed their help as everything was okay for my whole stay) and friendly. Rooms are lovely, well fitted out, and very comfortable. Only negative for the whole stay was that the duvet was too small - my feet kept sticking out the bottom (and I'm not so tall).

Luxembourg on the Moselle
Close to premier vineyards in Luxembourg and Germany. Enjoyed my stay, room was modern and clean, balcony on the Moselle was wonderful. Restaurant food was excellent. English speaking staff was helpful, and they even had laundry facilities I could use for my extended 3 week stay

The room was spacious and attractive. You could see into the toilet area from the shower and wash area because the glass was too transparent. There was very little light in the room, only a few watts. The ventilation was poor. The overall experience was positive and the price was right.

Immaculate & spacious room, so clean you could eat your dinner off the floor. Balcony room with a good view of the local vineyards. Nice meal in the hotel restaurant. Location is good for a holiday but a bit out of the way for business. About EUR90.00 for a taxi into town.
