Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our laid back vacation on the Alesha river. The 'cabin' is more like a small house. Located at the end of a private road made for quiet and private time. True, some have expressed concerns about the traffic noise from the other side of the river but it is really a non-issue. The cabin was very tastefully remodeled with new appliances and the larder was stocked with many small items to make one feel welcome (salt, pepper, coffee, tea, cooking oil, etc.). With no houses on the other side of the river (just the highway) and two large picture windows facing the river, and with national forest behind us, even when it was raining there was a tranquil setting. The listing is accurate and the house well maintained and clean. We had a little misunderstanding about the Internet password but vacasa cleared that up in a hurry. (Good communication on their part). We would definitely recommend this place for a couple for a getaway. One could bring a small boat (Pram-type) and set it in the river at the property or a larger one and launch it downriver or just around the bend upriver then moor it at the cabin. Very nice swimming if you don't mind a little salt water (tidewater). We would recommend to the owners that they increase the wattage of the bedroom light as well as the light over the dining table. Also the tv is very small and old tube type. A little larger screen would have been nice and easier to see when watching movies in the evening.
