Hotel Tramonto D’Oro was absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was welcoming and warm. Breakfast was delicious every morning and dinner was also very good. Just a few minutes down the road from Positano and half the price and not nearly as crowded. I loved that it was more secluded and quiet. It is right next door to a church so be prepared for the bells to be ringing all the time. I’m a deep sleeper so they did not bother me but they could bother some of you are a light sleeper. I personally loved them.

Not one bad thing to say about this hotel! Amazing staff, delicious complimentary breakfast (& room service), beautiful view. Will definitely return! And to top it off they had a taxi available to take us to the port at the end of our stay. Thank you for a wonderful time in Positano

"The rooms are amazing. The beauty of the castle and it's surroundings is spectacular. However, the parking is sketchy at best and nobody offered to help with our bags and it's quite the walk up the hill with two or three bags. My mother actually fell leaving the property Sunday. "The room was small but had everything a larger room would have. There was also a balcony with double doors, fridge with the usual, marble bathroom and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant and none close around other than pizza and pastry shops."
