“Great location. Parking space on car park to the rear. Spotlessly clean. William the receptionist / caretaker was excellent. Has everything you need. However, it sells itself as a luxury apartment and it doesn’t live up to it. Eg. In the bedroom there is only one bedside table and lamp. On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. ( can also be put back easily but.. ) in the living...

“Ballaloaghtan is perfectly located 30 mins from Douglas but within easy reach of a village shop..5 mins, a fine dining restaurant….10 mins and beautiful walks from the barn. We had a mix of weather but we did get to enjoy a walk up to South Barrule, a cycle ride around some of the TT circuit and a visit to Laxey on the Electric railway. It was always a pleasure returning to the house where we could cook, eat and relax together after our busy days. We will be returning 🙂”

“The property has picture windows overlooking the bay - stunning views. The house was clean overall, comfortable and well equipped. Although there is a lack of shaver point which I use to charge my electric toothbrush. I had to buy a manual toothbrush. The rugs in hall, lounge and kitchen are unnecessary as the floors are tiled/parky flooring. These rugs could do with a clean as could the settees. Apart from that it was an enjoyable stay with easy parking at the bottom of the hill and a good 10...

“Kittiwake House was an excellent place to stay in Port Erin and a very convenient base for exploring all of Isle of Man. “Lovely property set over 3 floors with all mod cons and full bathrooms on each floor. Has great entertaining space outside wuth hot tub, bbq, fire pit, seating areas both covered and uncovered. Would definately stay again. We stayed for a relaxing stress free night chill out night before my daughter's wedding. We were all impressed by facilties, and our host Tim. Who welcomed us warmly and took us through the house and facilities. ”

“A really lovely homely house in lovely grounds. Very quiet and peaceful and the owners were friendly and accommodating. The location was lovely, however it was just a little remote from the resorts in the south of the island. All in all though it was a lovely week and the Isle of Man itself did not disappoint. “Very overpriced. We were traveling with a group of 7 so we booked 2 exact apartments in the same building. Vrbo charged me more than our friends paid. They booked through Expedia. I will never use Vrbo again. The owner then charged me more money when we arrived, after the final online payment was made. He stated we didn’t pay for enough people, The apt sleep 7 we had 3 ppl in ours. Explain that? Pictures online were from another much nicer location (catfished). Very unclean. Cheap furniture...
