I do not intend to go through this review line by line. Suffice to say we and our staff had a horrible time with these guests and if we were permitted to score them it would be 0/10. I will leave prospective guests to decide if they wish to stay with us based on the majority of other reviews.

Thank you for your review. Let's just go through the time line here, for the benefit of other readers. Around 7pm you contacted me to say you thought you were about three hours away and that you had a flat tyre and awaiting assistance. You were unsure of your location. At 10pm you advised that a breakdown was coming to assist you shortly and then you would be on your way.Thereafter you advised that you were being taken back to Glasgow on a breakdown. By this time it was after 11.30pm You said you wished to have your tyre repaired and drive on to Inverness. I suggested this was unwise so late at night, bearing in mind this was an over 3 hour drive, even assuming you could get your repair completed. I was told that you did not wish to pay for two hotel rooms and that you wanted to come on and would arrive during the night. I was unhappy about this for three reasons 1) your own safety driving so late at night, 2) the disturbance to our other guests and 3) I was unable to stay up so late. having already been up from 6am.Next day you sent a message via Expedia to say you were unable to take up your booking. In your text the flat tyre had morphed into a road accident. I did say you were very welcome to arrive on the Saturday and enjoy the following two nights with us.We were unable to relet your accommodation because no cancellation had been received from Expedia which meant that your name was still on the room meaning it could not be booked by anyone else. Your booking was an Expedia Collect reservation which means they had your money and not us. I did offer to fully co-operate with your travel insurance company but so far have not heard from them. I am very sorry you have had such a difficult time
