Lovely hotel with lovely staf!
I booked a suite for 3 nights because my boyfriend was having his birthday. And i asked when i booked if they could make the room more romantic and omg, they succed! Birthdaycake, birthday song, everything was amazing!

Aboslut värt det!
Fantastiskt boende. Jag och min pojkvän bodde med deluxe- Pool Access. Vi använde inte poolen en enda gång under en vecka(tänk på att det inte kanske är värt det). Personalen var trevlig och frukosten ok. Designen är awesome men rummen ganska små. Jag försökte kontakta hotellet innan för att fixa med romantiskt tema, men svar uteblev helt. Wi-fi fungerade bra, även om lösenordet endast räckte för två dagar sedan var vi tvugna att hämta ny kod. I europeisk standard är detta ett fyra stjärnigt hotell, helt klart värt vistelse!

Nice hotel with a good location
Stayed there for 4 nights, good location near to Kuta beach and kuta square! 2 shopping malls minutes away! The rooms are clean but it can be quite noisy in evenings! Overall a good stay and Worth the money!

Bra hotell
Vi är nöjda med vår vistelse! Hotellet var fräscht och personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig. Rummet var stort och trevligt men det negativa var att det är lyhört. Frukosten var helt okej. Hotellet låg nära stadens centrum och stranden vilket var skönt.

Sun Island Hotel Kuta was perfect! Nice pool, nice staff, nice breakfast, nice location, nice rooms! We stayed in the Deluxe room with pool access and wow, it was really nice! But, to keep things interesting I got three things to point out, three things that weren't so pleasant. Number 1 was when we checked in, and got offered a room with higher rate than those who hotels.com offered. When confronted, staff snorted "Go book online then" instead of atleast offer us the same rate. Said and done, I returned 5 minutes later with a smile on my face and politly told him I had a reservation, which I payed 2/3 of the rate he told me 5 minutes ago. Number 2, the pool had a basket case. Every time someone hit it (which was often), the whole hotell heard it. It was loud. And with pool access, it often splashed us (nothing big, but still a bit annoying). This wasn't a big thing though, but still a dissapointment in a near-perfect hotell. The third was the slightly overpriced restaurant. The food was good but not the best, and the prices were high, even before noticing the "++", which means they'll add 21% to the listed price. And oh, they did the same thing with the room rates, showed 1 price and nearly forgot to mention it was 21% more to pay than listed. I find this sneaky and quite disrespectful! But overall, really nice hotell which I recommend, even though there is some things that could be better!

Mycket trevlig personal. Bonus att frukost ingår, ingen speciell frukost men helt ok. Gångavstånd till kuta och kostar ej heller mycket att ta taxi från hotellet. Negativa var rumsplaceringen men man kanske hade tur för vi stördes ej mycket av trafiken.

Nytt fräscht och absolut förstklassigt i Kuta.
Ett fräscht och bra förstaklasshotell med bra och lugnt läge i Kuta. Det finns absolut inget att klaga på när det gäller Sun Island hotell. Passar resenärer med krav på stil och komfort. Bra frukostbuffé, som man bör se till att ingå i bokningen. Frukost kontant betald är dyr!!!

Rekommenderas!
Vi bodde här 11 nätter. Nybyggt hotell med frächa rum och jättetrevlig personal. Det enda negativa var att det var lyhört ut mot gatan, men då vi sa till fick vi gratis uppgradering till rum med poolview som var bättre. Läget är bra men saknar egen nedgång till stranden från hotellet. Städning varje dag och byter både handdukar och lakan så ofta man vill. Personalen är mycket trevlig och hjälpsamma.

Horrible. The room was ok BUT OMG the photos on the internet are not what is there . Pool area dirty , old , wood is rotten, no pool bar, lose tiles in the pool , pool not lit like is shows I. Photos. The website photos must be over 10 years old and that’s being kind. The room cleaners hit and miss , tolitrolls and soap was on a rashon . Most days no hand towel. very poor standards. Needs a lot of money spending on it . not impressed . Would not ever recommend this hotel. A poor hotel lucky to be a 2 star , no idea where 4 star came from . very disappointing .

Stayed in Room 311. Shower head didn’t work properly needs replacing. Changed rooms 2nd night as aircon not working. Was moved to ground floor, noisy room near pool. Bed comfortable and room spacious. Water coolers on every floor a great idea.

Great location
Friendly people, but had some issue with management communication to staff. I had booked airport pick up and was confirmed my management, but staff were not told and no one turned to pick me up from the airport. Hotel is big in a great location, but could do with some maintenance. Lighting in room is very dark and air conditioner need a clean, they were very mouldy and smelly. For the price and location it was a reasonable stay.

Petit déjeuner pas bon. Les plats sont souvent froid. Si jamais vous venez tard, la plupart des plats sont vides. Pas beaucoup d'options non indonesienne. Il y avait aussi pas mal de fourmies. Par contre l'hôtel est plutôt bien situé et les employés sont sympathiques.

Hotel itself was ok, not as nice as the pictures make out, needs a bit of TLC. Resort is noisy, streets and beach are dirty. Pestered every 2 steps they do not take NO for an answer, they are obviously struggling to recover after Covid. Led to believe Bali is hit and miss, some places are outstanding others are like this one

Great Position
Hotel is old and run down and in need of some TLC. Great position though. Staff were helpful. Understand still coming back from Covid but reception didn't know what 24-hour room service were doing. Horrible WIFI

This property has really deteriorated over the years I have been staying. The condition of the property is disgusting and it should not be open for tourism until they fix it. Not acceptable. The staff need proper training and kitchen and dining options is non existent even though we get charged for a room with breakfast.
