Ett fantastiskt trevligt hotell med utmärkt läge i Tavira. Lätt att hitta parkering, lätt att gå intill restauranger och broarna över Gilao. Mycket trevlig personal, välstädat överallt och fint poolområde.

Tavira en pärla
Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst, riktigt bra frukost med kock som gjorde äggen ala minute. Stort fint poolområde, litet men helt ok gym, spaavdelningen var kanske inte så spännande.

+ Excellent value overall + Great location, walking distance to town and ferry to beach + Great dinner buffet - highly recommended half pension - Extra bed for child is very uncomfortable and narrow - Breakfast buffet has a lot of options but somehow gets boring quickly, bad choice of ham and cheese - Room cleaning was ok, but not very thorough

Bra hotel i Tavira närhet till allt
Bra hotel med stort utbud på frukost. Hotellet ligger på bra avstånd från staden och restauranger. Trevlig personal. Ett bra litet Gym överraskade mig på ett positivt sätt. Tyvärr otur med vädret så vi använde aldrig utomhuspoolen som annars var mycket lockande. Fint med balkong mot pool och sol hela dagen även om det bara blev en dag.

dålig service. Köade till exempel 20 min för incheckning när det fanns 1 pers framför mig och minst 15 minuter till frukosten trots att det fanns lediga bord - mycket ineffektivt o märkligt system. Dock trevliga rum, bra pool och en mysig stad.

Bra hotell centralt, nära restauranger och stadens övriga utbud. Bra pool och nära till båten som går stranden. Börjar bli lite slitet och varmt i korridorerna, men på hela taget ett bra hotell med trevlig personal.

Centralt hotell -nära till allt.
Hotellet höll på att renoveras så det var mycket byggnadsställningar m m som gjorde att man inte hade full tillgång till t ex poolområdet. När vi checkade in höll man på med installation av belysning på balkong så vi fick inte tillgång till vårt rum genast utan fick vänta. Positivt var att det låg väldigt centralt och att man hade nära till cafeer och restauranger. Sängarna och kuddarna var sköna. Frukosten var bra. Mycket att välja på.

Grym frukost, lyhört rum.
Hotellet ligger på bra gångavstånd till både shopping och restauranger,vilket är tur då man inte gärna flyttar bilen när man väl fått tag i en plats under högsäsong. Rummet var ok, men det är ruggigt lyhört i hotellet. Man blir väldigt störd av spring i trappor och dörrar som öppnas och stängs. Frukosten var fantastiskt, stort utbud och fräscht.

Vi förlängde vår bokning två nätter stannade nästan en vecka, det fanns olika skäl till detta men jag hade svårt att tro att vi hittade ett mer prisvärt alternativ. Jag vill påstå att hotellet har större potential, men de är ändå fullbelagda den helg vi är här. 4 stjärniga hotel brukar vara lite vassare men jag har överseende. Har egentligen bara buller från andra rum att anmärka på men föreslår att man förväntar en 3 stjärnig resort när man tittar på detta hotel. Låt inte denna berättelse skrämma, en gäst frågade efter baren, vid bardisken. Det går inte att ta miste på att det är en bar även om den är mer praktisk än mysig. Vårt syfte var inte mer än att bo och äta för att utforska Tavira och Algarve, med den inställningen fick vi mycket mer än vi förväntade oss. Det var många 55+ par här som trivdes bra och bara två barnfamiljer, synd med den aktiva och vänliga personal här är. Ta bra skor när ni skall utforska Tavira, det är kullersten och ojämnt överallt men finns fantastiska gränder och sevärdheter. Det är min avsikt att komma tillbaka och kommer välja Vila Gale igen.
