Hotellet ligger bra nära,centrum. Servicen är usel, relativt intetsägande personal med undantag av nattportiern. Utomhuspoolerna är inte uppvärmda. Den sk barnpoolen saknar reningsverk och är kall. Inget intresse fanns att värma upp poolerna.

Much of the property and hotel have been remodeled. Although clean, the rooms have been ignored since the mid 70' probably. They need updating. I've never encountered a hairdryer fixed to the wall with 2 feet of fat corrogated tubing. We asked cleaning staff for extra towels on our second day, which we received. We needed an additional one later in the day. When I asked the same cleaning for one, they began arguing with each other and then told me " go to your room". Our towels were wet and used. Out of spite apparently, they neglected to clean our room the next day and told management we had a do not disturb sign on our door all day, which wasnt true. We used wet towels again the text day. Management argued with us when we mentioned this towel situation. They were not friendly at this hotel. They treated us disrespectfully. Over a towel??

The hotel overall is fine. However, there are definitely many aspects that need improvement. To begin with, the way we were received was quite the opposite of feeling welcomed. We were given a room on the first floor and I asked for the possibility of a higher floor but I was told the hotel was fully booked, which we understood. We gave our deposit for the pool towels and were told they would not be changed daily even if we needed clean ones. We were informed that the sauna wasnt working. Then we went to our room and one bed would crack very loudly as soon as we sat on it and with any slight movement. We reported this issue right away and instead of getting an apology, the reply I got was they were not going to offer me a room on a higher floor, which was completely unrelated to what I just said. I repeated the issue was actually the bed. She said she would give me a room on ground floor. The room at the ground floor was gloomy, dark, and the bathroom was older compared to the previous room. But at least the bed didnt crack. We felt at a 3-star hotel instead of a 4-star hotel. Moreover, although we stayed 5 days and 4 nights, only once our bathroom towels were changed and our trash was emptied. The negative impression changed thanks to the breakfast, which offers a great variety of fruits, breads, cheeses, and all that needed to have an English breakfast. The service is friendly and in general quite good. The rest of our stay improved because everyone else was nice.

It was very quiet due off-season but facilities good though bathrooms need refurbishment to walk-in showers rather than baths. Breakfast choice excellent.

Needs updating but excellent staff
The reception, bar and restaurant staff were excellent. Helpful and friendly. The hotel room looks tired and is in need of updating. Pool area is excellent with good bar service and facilities. Nothing in the mini bar, no free water as experienced in other hotels in the region. Mini safe was inoperable with the lock removed and the room cleaning consisted of making the bed, with no replenishment of soap, no clean towels or removing used glasses.

Beautiful area. Easy to get to shopping and stores. Beach is 15 minute walk in two directions. Pool with swim up bar. That served food as well. Bed was good but not great, had bit of a sag. Hotel could use a bit of love in rooms. But nothing that was too bad. Would recommend. Breakfast was amazing. Great staff.

Wir waren mit der Lage und dem Frühstück sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer hatte eine super Aussicht, lag nur leider direkt am Aufzug. Man hat sich irgendwann an das Geräusch des Aufzuges gewöhnt. Das Zimmer wurde immer erst Richtung spät Nachmittag gereinigt, was leider dazu geführt hat, dass man genau zu dem Zeitpunkt von den täglichen Ausflügen wieder zurück kam und somit auch im Zimmer saß. Alles in allem waren wir komplett happy. Den Pool haben wir nur einmal kurz besucht, nette Atmosphäre, auch aufgrund der Bar aber hierzu können wir leider nichts sagen, da wir das Angebot nicht genutzt hatten. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden und zu Fuß war man innerhalb von 5 min mitten in Carvoeiro oder auch am Aussichtspunkt Algar Seco :) Würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder nehmen. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

The bed mattress was awful, it was a Queen size, but it felt like it was broken from the half. I had to put effort to stay on the bed. The bathtub was small. The shower curtain was not positioned correctly it was almost in the middle of the shower. There was no way I could shower without touching the curtain which was VERY unpleasant! Another thing I am not pleased with, was that you had to pay a daily fee to use the safe that is located in your room. Good thing I didn’t bring my iPad because that would not have fit in the safe.

Really enjoyed my stay at The Mirachoro. It was clean, great location, the staff were nice, in particular the breakfast staff. Decor is lovely, yes the rooms are dated, but not a problem whatsoever. Yeah, really liked it and would definitely stay again

Ótimo lugar para quem vai à Carvoeiro, voltaremos
Adoramos a experiência! O hotel é muito bem localizado, tem uma estrutura fantástica, quarto amplo e confortável, frigobar (não gela tanto mas não é problema), um bom banho, área da piscina muito boa e o bar noturno é uma delícia. Destaque para o staff (Rodrigo e o Jahal, que nos atenderam no bar noturno foram nota 10). Melhor ainda o café da manhã, muita variedade e abundância. Amamos a experiência e voltaremos assim que possível!

Wasn’t what I expected. Outdated. Wifi didn’t work. Had to mention it to staff multiple times before they offered to change my room. Needed it to work while I was away so very inconvenient for a basic amenity to be malfunctioning. Glad they changed my room. Staff was nice for the most part. Great location.

L’emplacement est l’atout principal
Hotel tres correct, tres bonne literie, accueil assez froid, menage dans les chambres correct mais tardif 17h pour ce qui nous concerne, piscine non chauffee et donc tres froide, petit dejeuner tres bien avec personnel tres attentif et efficace mais ne debute qu’a 8h jusqu’a 11h, un peu tardif.

Pool Bar
The hotel was nice especially the lobby & poll area. There was even a swim up bar. The room was a bit dated but spacious. Bed was comfortable and nice balcony. Best part of the hotel is the staff. Great service and very friendly. Thank you for being so nice.
