“We had a lovely short break at the hacienda with our two dogs. They adored exploring the garden and daily trips to the dog beach! The property is well situated to access the beach and lagoon, and also close to the supermarkets and various take away food options around. This was our second stay and I’m sure we will back, was a very relaxing few days. Thanks to your lovely host Pauline for allowing us to stay again 😊”

“The property exceeded expectations! From the welcome pack to cleanliness of the entire house we were instantly comfortable. The property manager was available if needed and we were a stone throw away from the beach. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful onceanfront getaway with all the comforts of home. We will be back :)”

“Very spacious and welcoming with courtesy supplies. Very comfortable beds. Great location. However only superficially magnificent and surroundings were neglected. We were given inconsistent information (e.g. check out time). The owner broke our verbal contract (email agreement for our booking) by subsequently raising the agreed amount to be paid in cash on arrival - not legal under the Fair Trading Act and Australian Consumer Law.”

“Property was kept neat and tidy only grievances was that the whirlpool hot tub that was advertised as being at the property was not there we didn’t hire the house because of the hot tub but thought what nice bonus security might need upgrading”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the farm. Lovely spot to get back to nature amd recharge. The house was well set up and lots of room. The house had a fabulous garden/lawn area which was perfect for games of backyard cricket and night spotlight for the teens. Easy 10 minutes from town and the beach. Thank you for having us Rona”

“Good size property for 6 adults and 1 infant. Plenty of parking and room for the dogs to run around. Not dog-proof fencing so if you have run-away dogs, you'll need to be careful. Quiet street, close to the river. Drinks on the balcony at sunset are lovely. The downside of our stay - the property really needs a bit of a revamp such as updating furniture (as some of it is run down and dodgy), crockery (chipped and mismatched), cutlery (old and mismatched) etc. Outside furniture and BBQ were full...

“Our stay was excellent and the property exceeded our expectations. Clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were exceptional and we really enjoyed our time in the house. Both river and beach were within walking distance. Beds were comfortable and the kids all enjoyed the bunk beds in their rooms. We'll definitely be back again.”
