Would recommend
I had a lovely time. The hotel was located very central but still pretty quiet and safe. The room was clean and very comfy bed. Would recommend to friends going to Amsterdam! Truly lovely staff, every single person I talked to in the reception was nice and welcoming.

Charmigt läge vid kanalen!
Litet enkelt hotell, som duger alldeles utmärkt om man endast ska bo och äta frukost. Kanske inte de absolut fräschaste hotellrum jag bott i men det uppvägdes av sköna sängar och mysig utsikt.

Centralt hotell med lugnt läge
Centralt läge, ändå lugnt och tyst. TV-kanaler på flera språk. Handdukarna byttes varje dag. Trevlig personal. Trädgård med utemöbler för hotellets gäster. Bänkar mot kanalen för en vilopaus i solen. Tyvärr alltför dålig wi-fi.

Nära allt men obekväma rum
Platsen var mycket välvald. Men rummet, som vi trodde skulle vara ett rum med två enkelsängar visade sig vara två pyttesmå rum med var sin säng. Mycket obekvämt.

Central and good service
The hotel is located in a safe, central area in a rather quiet street next to the Prinsengracht. The staff is really friendly and service minded. The rooms are well maintained and clean but rather basic and without airconditioning. There is no minibar but snacks and drinks can be bought at the reception or in the machines on the ground floor.

Bra Hotell. Allt fungerade bra. Vi parkerade 2 dygn på Olympia Stadium för 2 € på s.k. P + R. Innel istan hade det kostat 100 €. Hotellet erbjöd 2 dygn för 50 €. Vi var i och för sig tvungen att lösa spårvagnbiljett för 10 €.

Tobacco smoke in a "non-smoking" hotel
Hotel room was small, which was expected. However, what bothered me a lot was the clear smell of tobacco smoke in the room. The wall-to-wall carpet in the room was filthy.

Great visit
Went to the Amsterdam with my girlfriend for a weekend and stayed at Prinsengeracht. Good location in a quite area near a canal, but with walking distance to the major attractions. Our room was newly refurbished and clean.

shower door could not be opened 100%
nice location. Very comfortable bed. stayed in a single room. Service was ok. They where really quick to clean my table at breakfast while i was getting some more. There was one minor thing though The bathroom was bit crapped so the door of the shower could not be openend 100%. A person who has a lot of body weight would not be able to shower in this room. See pictures. Hotel Prinsengracht please fix this!

We thank you for your review and do apologize for letting you feel rushed at breakfast. It must have been a mistake as we do waith till guests have totally finished, and of course you make use of the buffet as many times you would like. Excellent location and very helpful staff. Only complaint is the extremely soft mattress in the single rooms. Didn’t sleep well. Others experienced the same. If matresses aren’t changes then I won’t return but if they do change, I will definitely return and recommend.

Nice hotel in a good position.
I rented a single room. It was a very adequate size, comfortable bed, very clean,medium size wardrobe, desk and 2 chairs. Room was quiet over night with a nice view of the garden.Reception staff were all friendly, helpful with very good levels of English

I booked this room for a friend coming from Turkey. On his way to the airport, his Uber was in a terrible accident delaying his flight. My friend is still in hospital. The driver was killed. I requested consideration for this circumstance, perhaps credit for future stay. The woman at the desk refused. There are times when we should make the right decision to be human and decent. Both EasyJet and Pegasus budget airlines have been extremely understanding and refunding all costs. Disappointing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was excellent. My only disappointment was that I was expecting a twin room but my wife and I found ourselves in what was in effect two single rooms with an adjoining door. However, this was not a huge proble.

Very dilapidated
It indicted twin beds, in the small print it stated two rooms adjoined. However the carpet was vile and the windows were perished so could not be opened.

The first night, because they were out of rooms they located us in a very noisy, small, not airy room on the ground floor with apologies. Because of inconvenience, for the next day, they offered us a free update for a room with a canal view (we extended our trip). The second room was also very small and not airy. There is no AC in the rooms. At night we realized bugs and flies in the room (because we left the windows open probably) and we changed our room for the third time. The last room was better than the others. All Hotel staff was reachable, smiley, and helpful. Location of the hotel is good and view is nice.

Excellent location in small quiet hotel
Excellent location within the canal ring , quiet street but within walking distance of museums etc. Short walk to tram stop which is a 10 minute ride from Central train station
