code on the outsiode door key pad was confusing. Don't just touch the keypad to start the check in process - , specfically touch the logo on the key pad- it's at the top.

Alaska family trip

This was a great and comfortable place to stay for the beginning of our trip. It was a little warm in the evenings but there were portable fans to help cool down the rooms.

Short stay in Anchorage

People in other reviews had commented about the sketchiness of the neighborhood. Yes, it's a little on the sketchy side and we did have someone thumping their music at all hours of the day and night (probably due to the lack of darkness) but it wasn't bothersome, with that said, we felt safe. You have to have a code to get into the apartment building and the parking area is video surveillanced. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't unlimited wifi for streaming movies and such. We could have called the owner to get the wifi password and just pay extra for any data overage, but we just used our own data. Problem solved. The apartment itself is clean, roomy, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. There were fans if we needed them, which was a plus. (I have fan sleepers. Lol!) The washer/dryer was a God send after a long vacation. Grocery stores, Walmart, fast food restaurants were all within 10 to 20 minutes away. The airport was very close which was good for us because we were flying out of Anchorage. Was a little disappointed we didn't see the family of moose though, but that's not the owners fault. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for family!!

This was perfect space for my family and I! Perfect distance from stores, restaurants without the chaos of being downtown. My kids loved having space to hang out when we were between plans.

Overall great experience renting this property. Instructions were clear, property was clean and well maintained, and the area was close to everything we needed during our week in Alaska. Would absolutely rent here again!

Nothing Special

The neighborhood is sketchy. Would not walk the streets at night or alone. Not close (walking distance) to anything. Living room furniture is comfortable, but for 3 (1 couch, 1 broken chair). Had an opportunity to do a once-in-a-lifetime excursion after the cruise, but the owner would not let us out of the rental without significant penalty. Check out was so early that we had no place to store luggage for sightseeing in a town we had never been to and not likely to return to. Dissapointing ending to an Alaskan adventure filled with wonderful and inspirational experiences. Alaska lived up to the expectations. So glad we had the opportunity to check off a bucket-list item so late in life.

If you read the hundreds of reviews...nobody says the Neighborhood is Sketchy. He says you cant walk anywhere...this is not true. This depends on what your seeking. Not sure what he talking about when he says let him out of the rental...and checkout is just like everywhere, common between 11-12. we always try to accommodate late check out requests and if we don't have another guest coming in then we will try...also depends on our cleaners schedule as well etc. No body requested to store luggage with us...he said dissapointing end to his vacation? Oh man...he stayed the minium 2 nights.

A nice stay

A nicely appointed three bedroom apt in an ok neighborhood. Very clean and easily accessed. Great for those seeking good sleeping place with easy access to downtown and airport. Great restaurant within a short walk but it requires advance reservations. The working class nature of the neighborhood is accentuated repeatedly by the verbal recording telling you that you are being recorded on camera. We enjoyed our two days there

Good and solid

Clean and easy to get from airport and midtown. Owner checked in with us and property was clean and functional. Some fixtures were a bit worn, but everything worked and basics were supplied. Off street parking was good. Access/security was good. Easy to stay and would stay again for a short visit.

Property was very dated. Not a very safe neighborhood. Owner of property knew that dryer was not working properly before our stay and didn't offer us the option to book elsewhere and gave us nothing in compensation. Very disappointing. Laundry was a major amenity we needed after 8 days on the road.

Cozy crew accommodations.

Really enjoy the “homey” feel of the property. Super quiet & comfortable in a great neighborhood. Owner is always quick to answer any questions & flexible for last minute changes on number of people. I will always look to see if Craig has an opening before looking at other places!!!

Thank you for the nice place to stay. It is close enough to downtown that we could easily get around. Everything was clean and in order. We appreciated the washer and dryer that was available and did a load while we were staying in Anchorage.

Lovely rental

Clean and just as described, located close to airport and shopping, property meet our needs perfectly with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and hot water and kitchen was setup well. Would definitely recommend.

Anchorage stay

Nice Place

This condo was a nice place to stay. It was very convenient to the airport and downtown. There were only minor issues like no stopper for the bathroom sink and tub but I would stay there again.

Anchorage Condo

Overall, this condo was a very good place to stay. The building is quiet and was exactly as advertised. It's convenient to downtown and the airport. There are a few minor issues that should be taken care of. There are no stoppers for the sink or shower (broken), the bathroom fan runs but doesn't clear the steam (it doesn't pass the tissue test) and the thermostat looks like the original one. However, there's plenty of hot water and having a washer and dryer was a big bonus. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Property was exactly as described. The location was interesting since it seems to be directly on the landing guide path for the airport, other than that… and we never found the WiFi password which was a bit of a bother.

Vacation

The property was clean but did not have enough toiletries for the entire stay. Some items were broken or damaged and could use some updating. This is not in one of the nicest areas of town and is very noisy.

Home away from home

Terrific place to wind down in Anchorage after busy days. Condo style, VERY clean, extremely comfortable beds, full kitchen, washer/dryer, all the comforts of home tucked away in a clean, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our stay, will choose this property again when we return.

Decent place to stay

Driving through the neighborhood to get here we got a little worried but property was nice. Could use a little updating but all worked. Large stove burner wouldn’t work correctly, just FYI to fix and shampoo dispenser in shower doesn’t work. Unit 2 is upstairs and gets hot but opening windows seemed to do the trick. Although it only got in the 60’s so any warmer might be an issue. Lots of airplane traffic from smaller airport nearby. Overall, decent place to stay,

Great for a group

I traveled with five students for a convention downtown. The apartment worked out well for us. It was spacious with everything we needed and an easy 5-10 minute drive to downtown. I would stay again.

Convenient location near airport

We stayed at this location for three days prior to a cruise. Location was great: in a safe neighborhood near the airport, with easy parking out front. The unit itself was basic but suited our needs perfectly. My only recommendation to the owner would be to add a couple more fans, as the unit was warm in the summer. It is located on the top floor, so be prepared to climb a flight of stairs.

Convenient, Clean and Quiet

The property was convenient to the airport, offered off street parking, was very clean and had everything we needed. There's also a great park a short walk up the street, and a pond nearby where you can watch the float planes take off and land! We stayed for three nights at the beginning of our Alaska trip.

Solstice in Anchorage

Property was as as advertised. Worked perfectly for our group of 3. We did rent a car, as there is so much to do and see in Anchorage. Cute restaurant (Rustic Goat) just a short walk from condo. Very easy to access the Tony Knowles running trail - (we ran it a few times). Owner was very responsive. Would recommend this property to others.
