Unfortunately, when we got to the hotel, Hampton Inn in Kennesaw, they could not find our reservation. I had been there three times in person to verify it, and I had my confirmation from Hotels.com. They could not find us in the system, and it was the night of our honeymoon! We had just gotten married that afternoon! This was very disappointing, and I will never recommend this hotel, especially since they did not honor this reservation. They said their system changed, and they would have to charge us the full price!
What use is it for hotels.com to place them for availability if they don’t honor your reservation?
The clerk at the front desk was very rude and said she had a room, but it would be charged full price to my credit card. We left and we will never go there again.
I also doubt I will ever book with hotels.com because there’s no communication and no person available to talk on the phone in the event of an emergency.
I called the number for Hotels.com. It was disconnected!
