They had not changed the sheets when I got my room, just made the bed. Hair and some jewelry piece still in the bed. It's cheap, but they should afford to launder the sheets at 70$/night.

Dags att renovera.
Hotellet är smutsigt i största allmänhet. Det var dammråttor i rummet, badrummet var ej rent fönsterkarmarna var inte rengjorda. Poolen var full av skräp och det var fullt av sand på botten. Platsen runt poolen har nog inte varit rengjord det senaste året. Det enda positiva jag kan säga om hotellet är läget och personalen är trevlig.

I loved that there was an option to have breakfast every morning I was there but I was put off by all the critters around the place. There were cockroaches in the room, in the shared spaces, and in the lobby.

Our room had several spots of black mold (all around the baseboards, the bathroom, and covering the window sill). The bathroom had several smudges of some sort of substance, the door wouldn’t close, and only one light worked in our room. We sucked it up for a month, but then called and complained after waking up with numerous bites. Also, there’s a general strong smell of must and the lobby elevator floors are all jacked up and it vents into itself. I am not sure who inspected it, but it does not seem safe.

It’s definitely not like the pictures, this is an old building, rusty, dirty, bad shape, smells really bad, has no ventilation, found others people hair in the sheets and towels. Stains in the bed, makeup probably. Feathers on the floor and dusty corners. I don’t recommend this place if you are looking a place to rest. The location though is great, a few steps from the Capitol and from the Main Street where you can find restaurants and bars. Staff is nice and friendly.

We only stayed one night, we were there for a concert on Tuesday and had booked the room hoping that id get a room that wasn't terrible. Wrong on that one. Found roaches in microwave and fridge, also didnt cool even on max. Also roaches crawling on wall and in bathroom. Bathroom wasnt clean, looked like mold around floor and tub. Towels had hair on them, a/c didnt cool very well, was dirty and the filters were needing a good cleaning. Sheets had blood stains on them. Pillows were broken down and uncomfortable and they were stinky. Parking was hard to get into for handicapped. I could barely sleep, made a few hours and them had to drive back to home 3 hours away.

Could not even walk into the building. The doors barely shut. You basically could have seen into the rooms through the cracks. The area looked like one giant tetanus shot. I had to go find another hotel IMMEDIATELY after driving 4 hours here.

Las instalaciones muy viejas, el cuarto descuidado y sucio, llena de pequeñas cucarachas, tuvimos que comprar insecticida porque nunca pudieron resolver el problema. En una semana hicieron la limpieza una sola vez y estuvimos insistiendo, pero muy mala atención al cliente. NO RECOMIENDO PARA NADA ESTE HOTEL. Lo único que tiene bueno es la ubicación.

As soon as we walked in the room we scoped out the area and the carpet was Absolutely Filthy!!!! There was clothes wadded up in the corner from the previous person who stayed in the room! And in the restroom there was a press on nail laying on the floor. Overall a horrible experience

Crystal at the front desk was phenomenal and went above and beyond for us!! I wish the property had been in better condition. Rails were rusted, our room curtains torn, linens stained…it’s a great location and a great staff, but the property needs to be renovated and better maintained.

Pretty typical inn-style rooms. The rooms had great AC coverage, which was wonderful! The bathroom was outdated but still felt very clean, well stocked with extra towels and blankets. Breakfast was lackluster, so consider that in your planning! Very convenient location though, near many cafes and restaurants.

I was not told in advance there would be a $36 fee to SELF park in a garage with ZERO elevators. The carpet was dirty in my room, there was a large hole in the curtain, a wall patch job was very poorly done, the bathroom door HIT the toilet. Even though the sign and free standing signs announced Valet parking, there was none, lugging my luggage from the garage to the room was a very unpleasant task and I only had a backpack and my computer bag.

The location was great for walking to 6th street. The garage smelt and was a little sketchy. The rooms are worth the price. Very basic, our room the bathroom door was broken.

If your looking for just a place to sleep this works but it was dirty and there were homeless people in the stairwell so good for a quick cheap stay but that’s about it.

Pros: Staff was nice, beds were comfortable, breakfast was ok, good location. CONS: Room was dirty, toilet was broken, no hot water, missing pictures from the wall, no trash can in room, trash on the floor from previous occupant, dresser drawers were broken. Place is ghetto, stay somewhere else.

Awful place!!! Looks very run down. Bugs in bathroom and vanity area. Stained mattress. It appeared so dirty I slept on top of bedspread instead on between the sheets. Smelled bad. I'm still trying to contact the valet service, as they charged me for 2 nights instead of 1.

The pictures posted are not an accurate depiction. I would have NEVER booked this hotel room had the pictures been realistic. There was mold behind and under the main door and mold in the bathroom as well. The hairdryer was completely off the wall and there was tissue paper hanging out of the eye hole in the door.

The condition of the rooms are old, dirty and with cockroaches. The elevator was never in working conditions. I attempted to leave the minute we arrived; however, since I booked through Expedia. I had to ask for permission to do so. I was granted permission to leave, but I had just paid for the parking. Our room didn't have any towels and not all the lights were working properly. If this hotel (motel like) is so frequented, I would think it would be wise to invest in the maintenance and upgrades. All staff were personable; except one lady that very rudely told us that she wasn't helping anyone other than the person in front of her. If maintenance is kept up we would reconsider staying.

Arrived early and the person at the front desk was nice and polite. I was able to check in early. However, the second night I noticed a small bug walking on the night stand, I figured okay it’s okay one. The next night i saw one on the pillow. I had to give the bed a quick shake down and make sure there wasn’t more. The place is not had for the location it is in but theres a few things that can be fixed to make this stay better.

Police activity second night of stay. The lady in the next room was screaming and crying all night and cops came in. We had bed bugs and cockroaches all over. Bath tub was nasty

Outside is really run down but the room was clean. Only needed it for a few hours so it wasn’t bad for a quick in and out trip. I wouldn’t stay longer. The rooms and entire property are definitely dated and had a weird smell. Staff was nice and accommodating. For the location, good bang for your buck.

This is an old establishment but I think my room was maintained really well. Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The staff was so friendly! The only con was that the elevator wasn’t working when I was there. Keep in mind that people are likely going to be there to enjoy the austin night life but I didn’t mind the noise. I felt safer to know it was a busy hotel.

I seldom leave negative feedback. I’m sorry to have to say something. The locks on the doors were nonfunctional. Roaches in the room. Vomit in the stairwell. The room was dirty. The staff was nice enough. I’m really disappointed in my stay. I’d recommend gutting the entire hotel and remodeling. This hotel has great potential, just needs a lot of work.
